Farming Delver points!
talisk3
I've heard that farming the Freezie quest is the most efficient way to raise Delver. I tried it in NM and found I got some points but I believe HM would be much better. The problem is that our group keeps dying. I run Barrage+Splinter, what heroes and henchmen should I bring to farm this? Thanks guys!
The Bard
Minion master(s), at least 1, 3 is great, lots and lots of corpses (yes snowmen leave exploitable corpses o_O).
Pip Squeak
An MM, Mark of pain necro ([mark of pain]) and only one monk that's healer/prot with [guardian].

If you intend to farm Delver to the end, you'll have to HM it anyway. You'll also get more points if you HM it, of course.

- The Snowball skill is a spell that inflicts armor-ignoring fire damage, while the snowmen's standard attack deals cold damage. [[Mantra of Flame] or [[Mantra of Frost] are both useful in reducing damage.
- Snowmen are fleshy, meaning they are susceptible to all Conditions and they leave corpses exploitable by Necromancers.
- [[Vow of Silence] will make a character immune to most of the snowmen's skills (since most are spells), but not to their standard attacks.
- AoE damage is very useful in this dungeon because of the many large groups of enemies. [[Searing Flames], [[Savannah Heat], [[Barrage], and [[Splinter Weapon (PvE)] are quite effective.
- [[Edge of Extinction] is very useful, as all the enemies are snowmen.

When I was maxing out Delver, I just went to Doomlore and got HM CoF runs. Cost is tips - 2k and you get minimum 1.5k back but usually you make your money back plus. I think I remember the run giving 1.5k - 2k in delver points as well, the runs take roughtly 50 minutes depending on how much the runner kills as so parts are avoidable.
Revelations
Snowmen running is easily the quickest way to max delver. You can finish a HM run in a little over 10 minutes without difficulty. Take [Edge of Extinction] and a source of disease. [Toxicity] isn't a terrible choice either. Disease a mob, take down one or two and they will literally asplode. Freezies group will die in about 10 seconds flat.
Due to all the death happening, N/Rt healers are most effective here, and as mentioned previously there are a ton of corpses. Minion masters or skills like [Putrid Explosion] do very well here.
If you're very lucky and get early rampages/hunt rank ups it is possible to get up to about 3.5k rep in a single HM run. A rampage can be retained until the end of the dungeon without difficulty.
