i have a problame in UW itry to do farming(Solo)with my ranger...(i use trapper build)so i buy scroll for underworld when i enter i need to speak with lost soul but i cant to this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when i talk with him the bladed axe see me and attack me and then i dead and then i lose 1.2K.....its freak me out!!please help me

kill the attax(?) first?

set your traps up in a corner..pull attax(?) into the corner where yoru traps are and keep setting them to kill off the steriod minotaurs then talk to the spirit?

or just take 3 heroes with you can clear most the UW lol...

just don't be dumb and pull the attax(?) into a mass of traps and watch them go boom and hope for an ecto drop

trapping is old now unfortunately...and there are much more efficient builds for getting cash from UW

Poor Aatxe. It must have the most mutilated name in GW history.

Anyway, you can talk to the spirit without aggroing Aatxes or Dying Nightmares. Just check your radar.

When you go up the staircase when you enter UW, you MUST kill the aatxes first along with the dying nightmares that pop up (**aatxes have interrupts and nightmares strip all enchantments**). Then get the quest from the lost soul and kill the grasping darkness one group at a time. If possible, having a longbow in UW to pull large clumps can be very lifesaving

And for a new build, try going on pvxwiki and click on 'great' under 'farming'. There's some ranger builds in there, although I prefer to 600 smite UW.

Solo Trapping isn't effective anymore due to the [Energizing Wind] nerf, so it's best to do it as a duo or even trio team.

It's still possible without [[Energizing Wind]. It's more difficult, though. There are faster, safer, and easier methods to farm UW as a Ranger besides trapping, anyway, so it's somewhat a moot point.

Please look in the farming forum for builds, and use search. The sticky thread has several builds for farming UW as a Ranger, including a solo trap build. Link below.
