It would be nice to have a crafter or a merchant for fireworks instead of having to save them for a 'special' (such and ambiguous thing that's hard to decipher) occasion. I want year round access so I can use them when I feel like it.

Make him have a real crafting panel and let him and I'm in.

It won't harm to add similar crafters in other places, like you have collectors for sweets and alcohol in Nightfall, merchants for alcohol in Prophecies and Merchants for Alcohol and Sweets in Factions.

As long as they are varied and can be found in several different areas and outposts around the word, it should be nice.
