Full video.. HM VS Farming with H/H

Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the audio, but I'll watch the full vid later.

Looks good, but the video is so grainy that I can't read the builds.

I can pretty much see what you are using but yeah please post builds.

yeah but it's still video you can actually see the positions alot better than writing a 2 page guide.. just put up the templates in the info.. quality sucks but that's how long it's been since I've used youtube =p

some reason I still thought the size was restricted to 320x240 and 100mb- I already deleted the 640x480 vids- was camstudio and compressed with divx on the fly.. I had to play that footage in a window at 640x480 on a 1080p monitor (oh the joy)

I'd use fraps next time but they still use freaking uncompressed on the fly even with the new version.. I'll check this thread tomorrow if anyone needs help with the build- maybe bring more permas to that chest

Hi, interesting build but having some problems.

Once you make it to the end, why die?

Also, whenever I try to do this, the heroes get aggroed and die immediately through the wall.

This worked fine in nm, but as soon as I go to hm, all the heroes get owned, this seems impossible at this point.

Is it all in positioning of the heroes?

yeah flag the hero's 4 bricks out.. it's fast if you follow the video- I put the full run uncut in HD if that helps (had to cut a minute out of verdant for youtube- but if you can't run that then you won't be doing this farm in any reasonable amount of time XD)

the heros should'nt be damaged much if at all.. the warders are the first you need to target on that first pull, and the interrupts come from the illusion hench..

this can be run on any spawn also- had one perma tell me you can't do it if those wolfs are in too close by the door.. that's bs.. I use shadow sanctuary to get inside a bit before the gas guys- recast and your good to go around the bend

I was working on fendi runs last weekend H/H for the green weekend.. might post up my tank and spank video on that one too- got 3 fendi staffs, 2 of his offhands, and a bunch of crap golds/onyx/diamonds.. it's not bad compared to frostmaw as it's 3 levels and alot of it can be ran.. I'm spiking with smite- 3 roj's on fendi's soul each spawn with him in the fire.. but it's a bit of micro- got it down with no deaths finally

this run is a cakewalk compared to that imo =] and to the guy who's asking why zone back.. you can go in on 25 kills for the beacon, maybe get 30 more dwarf points.. I used to do that sometimes but your really there to farm the chest- if you can squeeze 5 chests an hour in HM, that's a potential 10 golds- with the voltaic and ammy shield in the loot table.. plus you get enough onyx and diamonds to craft destroyer weapons for 5k every once in a while- sell those for 25k easy

fendi maybe a better H/H because of the BDS potential.. I haven't got it to drop but I did get a sweet r9 suntouched staff on one run.. I dunno why that isn't popular- it's a awesome looking staff.. looks like a big lolipop and in pvp when you lay it down on a monks forehead he roid rages

i do sometimes run into problems with having a lone marksman left over & not being able to get him in hero range. really messes with my run time lol :P

ah hey coil.. yeah I dealt with this early on too- I should have put that in the video but here's what you can do if you leave a marksman last.. pull him as close as possible.. while standing at the base of the wall, your heros should be flagged away from the wall a bit- now let your sf run out and get shadow sanctuary up right before the health spike

the heals your monk give will switch his aggro to your monk (who will be in the backline and away from the wall)- it'll pull him in range of the 3 eles.. micro the eles and light him up

All The builds are listed in the first (edited) video...I'm just having problems with the run thru the dungeon to get to Tommis - fine in NM but caned in HM

Works Great just watch the vid, the first 5-6 times you'll most likely mess up. i also found that the fire hench speeds things up over the mez. for that lone ranger just get him in range and micro your snare and sf, just keep him burning and its game over. i've done it close to 70 times now and still no VS tho :S

i have found that you can switch out heart of shadow for dash. you can cut down your time running around the wall if you hit dash after your recast on the bottom of the stairs as you will not have to wait for a double sf recast and some healing with a bad spawn after the initial corridor, if you know what you are doing. this will also make you lose all unwanted aggro while making the bend, preventing kd as iau should have run out by then and putting you on the final stretch.

just my two cents.
