Req 8 eternal give away

Well, my friend got me started on Guild Wars, then we both got another friend of ours started on guild wars. I'm certainly not the biggest philanthropist but the three of us are continuously trying to support each other in anyway we can. We will do whatever we can for each other so each of us can progress along nicely.
If I won the eternal I would sell it and split the profits equally between the three of us. None of us are wealthy in the game so even the split profits of a single item can help us further advance financially.

Couple weeks ago my friend was tricked into selling a buddy key for 100k and told the hacker his account info. the hacker took everything including his armor, my friend was very upset because he had alot of elite armor sets. since he is my bro, i sold my tormented recurve bow that i just got and it took me a month to save up for it and i gave him the money to get a jumpstart on getting his stuff back. I did this for him because i know he would do the same for me... If i got the eternal i would try to buy another tormented recurve bow

Guild Wars:
I gave over over 60 minipets, including Mini Oni, Mini Mad King and Mini Rabbit
In Real Life:
At my school there is this boy who has cerebral-palzy or something (can't spell that well), and has to be transported around in this wheelchair. Some kids in our school decided to have a fundraiser for this boy for a new wheelchair, because he had outgrown the one he currently had. Near the end, they were afraid they wouldn't have enough, so I went up, and out of my heart, gave all the money I had in my wallet, which was quite alot. I felt very good inside.
As for what'd i'd do with it, I would either:
a) Sell it so I can help my recently hacked friend regain his money
b) Sell it so I can buy a VS
c) Keep it and wield it on my cryer or ele.

hmm, seems a little weird to be writing things i've done to help others. most of the time i'll just drop what I happen to be doing if a guildie needs help. I've also tried to create a guild thats a haven for the noob. gets a little tedious sometimes, but its good to give new players a firm grounding in the basics. I've also got a very open policy about crafting materials and items (Excepting right now the stuff i'm saving for FoW armor). if someone needs something that I have and am not using i'll offer it to them. i guess i try to spend a majority of my time making the game fun for others. accomplishing things they need to accomplish and the like. makes the game more fun for me if others are having fun as well.

I lost 80 ectos because my reading ability is really bad when I'm tired. Bought an obby edge for 130e, accidentally sold for 50e to someone that didn't give it back to me claiming they taught me a lesson. I helped someone make roughly 80e >_>
Since then Ive just been blowing my money off on random stuff like... free ascalon moneyz for people.

2 years ago, at my little brothers 13rd birthday i bought Guild Wars Prophecies for him, later on I've bought the remaining Guild Wars games for him.
Now the thing with my brother is that he is slightly challenged, his brain is not that well evolved - a retard one might say.
We usually play together after dinner, which i quite enjoy, 'coz frankly, he is VERY ENTHUSIASTIC. I believe it's time for some quotes now: "Hahaha! I killed them all!", "Don't mess with me and bro!", "Got you evil monster!" and "Who's the Boss!?" The first time my brother shouted out "Who's the Boss?!" i made a laugh so epic it imploded on itself, literally! It was a true moment of pure epicness.
As time went by my brother became surprisingly good and one day he began titlehunting. As i'm writing he is stuck at 27 maxed titles, only needing the three consumable titles.
If I got this eternal shield i would sell it and buy consumables for my brother so he could also be a God Among Mere Mortals ingame.

2 months ago i convinced my girlfriend of 4 years to buy GW and she wasn't really into it at first, but i went on wiki and showed her all of the armor and weapon types for all the different classes and said "pick the armor and weapons you like the most" and i bought her them. She picked Pink Elite Cabal armor for her female necromancer, and a tormented staff. (eek haha) so i saved up and bought her all of what she wanted, then she was more into it because she was lookin' good (you know how girls are). i helped her through a few campaigns and now she's very into it and its fun playing with her, hehe
if i got the eternal....shield/sword/bow/thing i would probably use it on which ever one of my chars needs it most, or i would give it to my girlfriend if she wants it

This is probably the main person I have helped. He is probably also my biggest in real life freind. I joined gw a little before factions came out and quickly convinced him to play. When Factions came out we both made assassins thinking with the logic that they where the coolest and obviously the cool are good. I went A/R for the pet because 2>1 and he went A/N
thinking 10>1. we managed to make it to the place where we could cap flesh golem for him even without having armor above the starter. Our first try to cap it for him was hilarious looking back on it we both got 1 hit killed with our starter armor, of course we could not settle for this. I went over to his house and we treid many more times all with the predictable outcome of failure. We finally decided to make a plan.We spread out a bunch of paper in the comp room and discussed it using little o's for us and little x's for the enemy. I finally remembered his minons and thought I could find a way to kill myselfso he could have minions before the fight. we logged on and tried it. It worked somehow with his bone minions we managed to kill the boss and cap the elite for him before we died. Later as non noobs I helped him buy Max armor and weps.

P.S. He now is incredibly inactive playing once a year or couple months he plays diff games now

I use to run Droks back in the day when warrior was "The man". 3k a run or 2k a run, been a long time and i dont really remember. Business was good and somtimes u get that occasional scammer- boo hoo QQ fer me somtimes. I pushed through and got through 30-40 runs fairly easy
Pretty nice and more money then I could imagine.
A few times I was really blown away with payments for my runs
-once a person gave me a free Victo's Axe And Bulwark (When they were still 100k each
-another time I was with these austrailians who were cool and made jokes as I ran to keep my company. this was late at night, prolly one of my last runs and i was just chill, runnin and them talkin. i get to my destination and each give me 10k
I know this story isnt suppose to be about others to u,but the opposite
but its nice to feel that people - even in a game - can be kind and generous, to those who cant always get what they want the moment they want them.
These kind of people leave a lasting impression on me and really show me the kind of uniqueness we can all have.
IGN: Aye Mon
as for the shield? i will probably sell for cheap -use the money to start a guild/alliance - prolly name it "The Gift Of Friend[Ship]" (Unless its taken)

My dad dabbled in GW a bit but could never get his wife to get interested. Well, he went on a business trip for a week and low and behold, she decides to give GW a try. (No pressure since he wasn't there looking over her shoulder telling her how to play.) Turns out she wasn't very good (she's not really a gamer), but with my help teaching her how to play, and showing her through some of the missions, she manages to catch up to his character in Elona (He had finished Tyria and Cantha, but not Elona). So when he returns and logs in to do some Elona missions, she hops on her computer and joins his group as a big surprise. It was very fun!
Anyway, not that big of a deal, but it was fun none-the-less
What would I do with a req8 eternal? I don't know, but I would sure feel sexy standing around weilding that thing!

I gave away an eternal for the same reason, I simply asked what the people in my alliance recently helped someone with. The one that appealed to me, I gave the eternal to.
As for what I would do with it, I would most likely thank the guy who gave it to me then very carefully double click it while it is in my inventory

i posted my story (#51) earlier but i have another that is quite similar.
my little brother who is 10 plays this game and he's not awesome at it, and he has an assassin. if you read my other post, i did the same thing with him.
if you didn't read it, and don't feel like it :P then here's the thing. he didn't know much about really anything in GW and was starting to get frustrated because he was getting stuck in a lot of places, and he didn't have very good armor, so i decided to help him out. i took him on wiki and showed him all the different armor and weapon types, and asked him which ones he wanted. he picked White Ancient Armor and Salient daggers (i'm not a rich person so it took a few weeks) and when he logged on yesterday and looked at his character he spazzed out and now i'm helping him through the campaigns one by one.
(i spend more on others than i do on myself haha)

Not sure if you can post players IGN names, so if you wabt a reference from a different guild I help recently them send me a PM. When time permits I help players for free who use the chat for help. At the weekend I run a level 2 player who wanted the Survivor title from Yaks Bend to Lions Arch, except I am not a runner, lol, so had to clear the way. When waiting for a group in Doomlore Shrine I often help players to do the Stronghold, also at no charge even if they want to pay 5K, which was the offer the last tune made. For dungeon chests, should I already have the drop and no use for it, as a rare imho is a skin I do not have, I give the drop to a group member if they need it. I avoid the negative players and help those who want to play the game.
Not sure what type of eternal your offer is, should it be a sword I would use it on my Warrior Tune. If it is a bow, I already have and no need. The reason for the post is promote in game help, or as that other game says, need versus greed.

Well, I might have to say the nicest thing I've done was gave a run to the Zaishen Chest to a guy asking for one in Great Temple of Balthazar.
I run out and walk him up to the chest, wishing him best of luck. He proceeds to thank me, and says he feels like an idiot for having requested such a simple task. I say it's no problem, wish him luck, and map out. I PM him in a minute, realizing he had asked the value of the chest before I mapped.
We've been talking for the past few weeks now, helping him get back into the game after his 2 years or so off.
As for what I'd do with the sword, I have to be honest - I'd most likely sell it, get the money, and save it up - funding for the guild events I always seem to end up scrounging prizes for. We hold monthly Guildie of the Month and Officer of the Month contests, and I never seem to get enough donations for a prize pool xD

In my 32 months of guild wars, i was disgusted with farming, i mean i HATED IT.
The only way i found i was making money and still having fun was 1v1 scrimmaging with bets. It was good money, but this one time i hustled. Usually i was very straight-forward, but i hustled this guy like there was no tomarrow. i did a "fun 1v1" with him, and i played a IW mesmer with no healing (lmao). During the fight i had a tormented sword equipped, and he was fascinateed with it, he had never seen a tormented item before. Obviously he beat me, which i had planned on happening of course. So i pretended to be outraged and demanded we rematch on a 100k bet. Heres where the irony comes in, he said "once i take your 100k im going to get me onof them tormented weapons!" So the rematch came, I loaded up my VoS Wastrel's Worry pressure build, and just ruined that kids day. Anyway he was shocked he lost, but none the less he paid me. After talking to him for an hour or so after the fight i realized he was just a 13 year old who bet his old brothers money, and i felt bad.
I Gave him his 100k back + i gave him my Tormented sword.
IF I WON THE R8 ETERNAL:
I would use it until i quit GW, and then pass it on to a close friend.

my friend hitting to the max got scammed lost all his money which at the time was quite alot n i felt guilty because the person who scammed him was in my old guild so i gave him the majority of my money. I also used to own a guild not a very large one but i never got time to make it any bigger because i was helping the majority of its members. If i won this i would probebly keep it in the bank and use it when i can on every account since it will be by far the coolest and most expensive thing i have ever owned on guild wars. Oh i was reading some of these stories n i felt like i had to say i didnt give my friend that much because frankly i only had 20k but i gave him over 15k because i needed the rest to help out my old guilies because the majority of them were just out of pre searing n 1k is alot to them. i know its not much but i try to help where i can since i dont know how to get titles i only have 1 or 2 n they are the easiest to get. if i had more money i would share it aswell

First of all, what a great giveaway, thank you for hosting it!
How I have helped in GW? I try to be helpful in every area of the game. Whether I am trading, or hanging out in towns, procuring something for a guildee, guild missions and quests. I spend most of my time trading during the day, then I quest with my guild members at night. I try to do my part with every one I meet, whether in Ascalon, LA, Kamaden, Kaining. I have sold items under value because someone really wanted it and it was great to see them so happy afterwards. I have given weapons away in towns. After Wintersday, I gave away about 25 Elf tonics because it was fun for me to see all the little elfs running around in the area I was in. I have guildees ask me, oh can you look for this for me in town? Then I spend a day or two searching for it, find it and then gift it to that person. I am constantly giving guildees presents and currently have a bunch of ded minis Im gonna give away to guildees in a contest. Im also one of the 2 party people in our guild and she and I set up bday parties for the guildees and such. (We gather in the GH, shoot off fireworks and give the bday person presents) Ive traded with people and then spent an hour with them as they asked me 100 questions about the game and what to do here or there and what armor is best? What weapon is best? Ive given builds to strangers who have just pm'ed me outta the blue to ask what builds I have for a certain character combo, Ive given away free materials in towns to people asking for them, I have given away gold to those asking for it in local chat that everyone else tells them (and quite rudely I might add) to earn thier gold. I think GW is a great game and I love to play, and I like to do what little I can to make others love to play as well. I remember when I first got to Post...being so completely overwhelmed with everything, and I didnt have much gold then. Someone gave me 10 iron ingots so I could make a sword, and I remember being so happy over those 10 little pieces of mats. I hope that I have made some people in the game as happy as that person made me then.
Thanks for listening to my post. What would I do with the eternal? I would most likely keep it, as my warrior loves really cool weapons and shields IF by chance though I decided to sell? I would use the money for my guild for equipping all the new guildees in armor and weps and also to give 100k to a fellow guildee and friend who recently got scammed when he was selling Zkeys. (Scammers name was Black Widow Smoker, he gave my friend 100gp for 21 keys and my buddy didnt realize it till after he hit the button. The guy got "suspended" for 2 weeks, but thats all Arena Net will do. No recovery of my friends keys or replacement money).
But, I have read all the stories here, I think Mekhet Ossa's story should win. His tale of his mentally challenged 13 yr old brother, and trying for the final title, kinda made me tear up. (Im gonna pm him in game and hunt for all the consumables I have to give to him!)

Last night I helped a new person to the game by giving him max weapons and showing him around, and helping him with mishs. Gave him a perfect shadow blade which he thought was awesome. 15^50, 20% longer, 1- +1, ya know. I've also been helping one of my friends that had his acc hacked recently. Anet for some reason wouldn't give his acc back to him (reasons unknown) so he had to buy ALL the GW over again. So I've helped him recover some of his stuff like elite armor, weapons, mishs, runs, this and that. Well that's it atm. GL everyone =-D

I don't like to brag about how nice I am just to get a reward.
*Kindness is its own reward!
*It doesn't matter how big the deed, just the thought that counts!
*Giving out items to the person that tells the best story is falsifying what being nice really is about.
I will be putting the eternal on my monk.

Boy do i feel like an a$$ typing this. Well i guess I am pretty helpful, I joined a guild called Above and Beyond Duty (DUTY) about a year and a half ago, and our whole mission is to help new players get up to speed so they can play with the snobs who wont let anybody in their special missions or teach them how to play. So basiacally I taught 3 people how to play, what everything meant where it was was and what was good and bad (or at least considered so by other players) and just all around brought them into the GW world. So I spent alot of time helping these guys out, I got one of them protector and guardian of cantha titles, and I hepled out a lot of other people through out my GW career. At wintersday I did a half hourly 5k giveaway while I was on during the festivites one day, I often run free cof and SoO runs when i do run them as 600 and just like to help out the new players to the game, bc who knows when ill need help and they can give it to me. BTW one of the people I brought into GW is now my best in game bud, Shawna Nighthawk. However I'd have to say I'm not the true person who deserves this prize here is DUTY, if we could give it to the guild I would, because everybody there is so helpful, so I think that if i got the bow I would likely sell it and donate the proceeds to the guild for our monthly alliance parties.

i did 3 free droks runs to random ppl(in full groups), and then did a couple runs from yaks to LA. Also helped a total of 8 ppl get thru all the shing jea missions. I helped a friend w/whole factions game last week, and now ive been giving away my greens
If i do win, and get the eternal wep, id probly give it to a friend of mine whos been looking(but hes rlly poor on GW)

Hmmm I played in Pre for over 2 Years i always helped beginners and i was an officer in [KING] the biggest Pre-Guild in the world (don't exist anymore )
Than i started in Post i really like to go with the story i always watched the videos after i time i got a max armor etc but after a half year of playing in post my account was hacked and every of my characters was deleted......
i start a new beginning with 3 Friends and we want to see everything in GW new ......
I would give them a part of the money and the rest i would put in my treasure to buy things i need ......
I've been in 18+ Guild with only 13 years i often chat and go with the community
all in all i think i would need the eternal for a new guildhall for the guild of me and my friends.....

Well I'm not really a nice guy, so I didn't actually do anything nice as far back as I'm able to remember, but I'm planning to do something nice, that is if I should win. I would give the eternal to a ingame friend of mine, called "Chiyoko Megumi". He really helped me a lot, when I was like doing missions and stuff.

afew months back i met a guy who had just started playing GW named Max Destroctor. he was ur basic w/mo trolling around ascalon and i took him under my wing gaming him threw the world not rushing. taught him the basicas of warriors and gave him a perfect sword and shield (later a perfect sephis axe for more advanced farming) fought threw to ascending and later beating the game. i would have bought him his 1st max set of armor but he wanted to farm that so i helped him with is first set of elite cause he thought he could never afford it (kurz) he is still a good friend i help him start his guild and recruit, he is now one of the best warrior farmers i have ever seen for only been playing afew months. we have been title hunting as of late and have maxed afew. feel free to hit him up as hes on almost everyday, to verify this story is true. just ask him about My Perfect Sonnet.

nice, what is nice...
the usual answering questions for me, giving some free runs n help friends get their armors n stuff... but this s not about me, this s about som1 whos better than me!
Poor guy s the richest guy i know in GW (kinda broke now, he bought mini polybear) and he's always there to help others, give advice and doesnt hesitate to delay another dungeon run to help a friend, guildy or som1 from the alliance. Even ppl he doesnt really know, he just hops in to help and asks if they wanna join next run
The guy m talking about s of course Lalina Alhas, and one of his best friends shouldnt left out, Shina Kire. What would we do without those 2...
He's good, he's nice, he deserves a medal, and this is his chance to get one
Friends cant be bought with money, they can only be made by being nice

Well my guild leaders account got hacked a while ago... and all of her obsidian armor got stripped from her ranger. So what we all did was we farmed our asses off for 1 week so we could all afford to buy her fow armor back and to this day she still has her fow armor .
And my friend algung alcarin was new to the game after 2 months or so he tried to get elite armor... he got all the materials and stuff but he couldnt afford to get the 75k to get all of his armor. so while i just made my target to get my fow armor i gave him 75k from my savings so he could get his!
If i got the eternal blade i would keep it on my monk or warrior and enshrine it forever!

Whenever I'm in an outpost, doing whatever, and I'm the only person there I give 10k to the next person who enters the outpost. I've only done it five or so times, but you'd be amazed at how many people just close trade without taking it... and I'm talking more than a couple dozen people have done that...
Oh, and I'd sell this q8 e blade to further invest in the players who take my free cash.

Well my story is actually about my brother, we have been playing GW for over a year now and I will truthfully say that we are not the most advanced players out there. Sadly between work and school we do not have much time to make money or even play the game :| but even through all of this he has the kind spirit to always lend me money and due to this I would spend the money on getting his dervish primevil seeing as he hasnt even had a set of max armour yet. I would spend some of the money on myself (most likely a set of armour as well) and then i guess we would split or bank the money for a rainy day my ign you can contact me by is: I Twisted Fate I, My brothers is Angela Vinr Alfakyn (Ps we share the GW acc, illegal yes but we only have one computer) and someone to verify is : Thizz Fizz Panda Thanks and GL to the other contestants

update on mine:
i gave away an eye of the north key away to one in the alliance, because he couldn't buy it where he lived.
