Req 8 eternal give away

well, as far as helping people goes I try to do 2 things:
1. help AB and RA newbies get proper skill bars and improve their gamestyle.
2. help people in missions anywhere I find a person or 2 "stuck", spamming LFP.

the first is obviously hard cause a lot of people don't want to listen, ignore me or just trash talk but I keep on trying and I do get some nice people who want to listen and learn from time to time.

as for the Eternal Shield, will probably use it, but it's hard to predict the future :P

Playing PvE, I met a nice girl. After knowing better each other and playing a bit, she told me she was stuck on a wheelchair since she was born due to a brain malformity. My heart was like crying: no one deserves that kind of life, but she was so nice that I couldn't even think about HER living that life. Since we were far away from each other, I tried to make at least her virtual life on GW better: I fullfilled her storage with many presents, crafted some armours for her, past many time playing with her and helping her and talking to her. It seemed like she was happier. Than came the day she told me she had to stay at the hospital for a while. That was 6 months ago. Since that day I've never seen her anymore, I'm just hoping.

If I get the Eternal, I'd keep it and give it to her when she comes back.

I have very good friend who's account got hacked. i dunno how, but anyways, back to the topic. He isn't a RL friend of mine, only in GW and emails, so anyway after he got gw AGAIN i helped him through all the games, gave him good weapons and also cash for armor and stuff. All in all i gave him over 100k and you know what? i don't care. i helped someone who really needed it and that's that. i hope you like my deeds enough to give me the shield but meh, even if u don't give it to me, gratz for whoever will get it.
Yesterday I helped some guys from ascalon to get to LA, and after that i gave them each 50k and a good weapon, plus I gave them enough materials so when they want to get max / elite armor they have enough materials. I don't remember the names of them so... ^ ^ btw if I win the eternal whatever i'll prolly sell it and use the cash to get elite armor for my other character and the rest will be used to help ppl in need and guildies. I helped a friend of mine get the Tyrian and Canthan Guardians by completing some of the mission with him. If I won Your wep I would probably sell it and get the Wisdom title for it and any other title possible with the leftover gold

Gave 5k to a noob that got scammed out of his only 3k (level 12ish, Prophecies)

I will sell it and buy Zaishen Keys, so basically it is like giving a homeless guy money for booze, drugs, and hookers

I helped a noob figure out how to leave his guild, why do so many people have a hard time with this...sigh.

I would make it caster and put it on me monk.

Not sure if I did anything deserving of a free eternal blade, but I know several of the people I've met across the years I've been playing do, people who've been my friends even if they were continents away. They helped me get into the game and get me to the point I'm at now. Obviously I can't name everyone whose been there over the course of the time I've played guild wars, but several people come to mind, and splitting the eternal between them would be a fitting way of repaying them, I think.

I honestly don't have a lot to post here. I spend most of my GW time giving free Beacons-LA or LA-Beacons runs, because they're fun IMO, not entirely for charity. I also give away any max golds/purples that don't have rare skins or greens that I can't use. Oh yeah, and I also gave a not-all-that-new-but-not-all-that-old player a perfect 15^50 Platinum Longbow because I watched him help a guy he didn't know with a mission and then sit for 30 minutes giving the guy pointers, but that was a justified reward for him.

As for what I would do with the eternal... I'd use it! I love that skin.

EDIT: Actually, that's probably not entirely true. I would sell the Q8 and get a Q9 Emerald Blade, which is a cooler skin IMO.

Then I'd probably use leftover money to get the last piece of Monument Armor for my Ranger. No idea what I'd do with the rest of the money, probably give it away though, because I don't really need it anymore. That, or get every skill for my Ranger. Like, EVERY skill. EVERY profession. Because I'm weird like that.

Lately I've been pushing my characters through Nightfall and I've been giving people free rides to the Docks because it's a nice thing to do for others.

Today this random guy was sad because he did not have a mini pet and all i had was a charr shaman - i gave him the charr shaman then he tried to offer me gold since it was purple i declined the gold and told him please just enjoy and if there is anything else i can do for you please tell me

I try to help people but the best I've done :

I gave a q8 gothic dual axe perfect to a friend because he had been hacked and so he had nothing left. So now, he has some gold ^^

I make free run and some times I giveaway some items IG

What I'll do with your weapon? I have a q11 obsi so I'll keep my weapon and give yours to a friend because he's 18 in one week

i regularly pay 50g to them that what storage open and dont want it back i also take ppl on full starter island runs but i have the say the nicest thing iv ever done is for one of my guild members (Phoenix Dramora) she join our guild on her 1st day playing having only factions then for reasons unknown i went out and got her Nightfall,Eye of the North and Prophecy

with the wep id probably keep it or sell it unless a better home for it can be found might even make it a prize in the alliances event

Well...My friend (Furin) is a guildie. We always helped eachother do things like quests, dungeons, all that stuff. So i decided i would save all i had to get him a everlasting tonic. He had always wanted a trapdoor tonic so i decided i would buy one for him. I farmed a Ton of stuff and did all i could do earn money and finally got enough to get it (Hard to find xD) Gave it to him just the other day and it was awesome because he was so happy to get it. Feels good to give .

If i got the r8 eternal I would Probably share it with furin whenever we did quests or something like that

It's not really much, but today I:

1. Helped a new player get a feel for Guild Wars, explaining elite skills, runes, materials, quests, missions, classes, etc.
2. Gave away the W/E Raptor Farmer build I was using to many warriors asking for a build that could kill the boss. Took one warrior with me to show him how I farmed, and then watched him go and critiqued.

If I got the eternal shield, I'd probably put it towards the Everlasting Transmogrifier Tonic that I've been slowly working towards. And maybe give some cash to that newbie I was helping

I have given dozens of weapons and lots of money away to players who are starting out. Usually occurs in Piken or LA that you will always see someone asking for help. I do a lot of farming and end up with loads of R9, perfect golds. I will always keep them on a mule for the time that a new player is looking for a boost in getting a better weapon. I have already gotten my treasure hunter point out of identifying them and the additional couple hundred will not benefit me as much as the weapon will someone else. Just good Karma!!!

when ever and where ever i play, when see people asking slightly nooby questions i always try to help answer their question, especially when others make fun of them because they dont no...
like when i was just about to go on a uw farm run, a guy was asking what an uwsc was and some people were making fun of him saying stuff like underworld speed cleaning and stuff like that so i obviously helped him...

also, i dont no if this counts but i sell things at pretty cheap prices sometimes, like back when ectos were 5-5.5k i sold one for 4k and the guy i sold it to was pretty thankful...

depending on what the eternal is i would either sell/give away it if i couldnt use it or if i could i would probs keep it until i got bored of it then probs give away...

i powerlevle peeps new to guild wars and introduce players not playing guild wars to the game.

i then help them out

i recruit mmbrs and tell them alternatives to ways they can improve themselves

i make builds for peeps

i train peeps with professions

id end up selling the eternal set for some ecto and shards in order to get my obsidian armor which ive tried to get for ANYONE of my characters for 4 yrs. farming isnt my strong point. so yeah... selfish i know but honest yes. remaining ectos and such ill give away in community and or my alliance, but i will still help others get their obby armor too...somehow

when i was raptoring i had hudred of green daggers and everyday i was going to monastery,and i was giving em away to some new ppl.it was so nice,the sense when u help newbies is very nice ^^

Personaly, I think this is a sham. Its been, what a month?....I think he;s just trying to C who's the best "goody 2 shoes" to be honest...

About a month ago I was hanging out in Shing Jea on my main character (becuz I was bored). Someone was asking for 30g to start their bank account. Its not much, so I decided to be nice and help out.
When I went to trade with him, I got an error message saying that his character couldn't trade becuz he hadn't had it for 24 hours. So I added him to my party and brought him outside to farm some gold and do quests.
Pretty soon, we found ourselves in KC. I had given him a pair of daggers to use, but he was still short on cash. So I paid for his max armor.
We continued advancing and got to HzH. I then taught him to AB and we did a lot of alliance battling together.
We finally got to the last few missions, which we finnished in no time at all. I had helped this person from lvl 2 up to the end of Factions....and he was able to beat it on just his second day playing.

If I win the eternal blade, I'll probally keep it forever as a trophy of my good deeds.

Well, for my story...

I met a guy at Tombs once. liked the guy, so i joined his guild. turns out that he wasnt exactly the happiest person in the world.

i helped him move through a suicidal period; one night in which he actually had a gun in his hand.

as of now, hes moved on and is training to be a policeman. if you want proof, just PM me in GW and ill introduce you. (add Lulu Yree to friends list)

also, i act as a roaming psychologist. I help some people with quests like galrath. and i also do runs from LA to ToA and/or Sanctum Cay.

and i know that none of ^ means crap to any of you, but i hope that it inspires someone else to try and help out.

wow. azurelao is quite moving. my best helping ig thing was with a friend in rl. i taught him everything about gw. he now has fow and is amazingly tallented and has god walking amongst mere mortals title. i don't even have that xD. i just am happy for him and happy that our ig friendship has help to bolster our out of game one. i know i won't win but it is nice to talk bout things like this. thank you. AND ETERNAL WHAT???

i run newb missions for free if requested
i always give money to newbies wanting to open their storages
and when someone spams: "WTS sword" and another one spams: "WTB sword" i let each one know of the other person that is spamming for the sword..
i also helped a gw friend on the gw weapon drawing competition (though we didn't win anything xD)
when someone needs help with their armor i give them mats or even money (add Nikos Of Magic--> helped him with 2 sets)

if i get the eternal (lol ;p) i haven't decided what to do, but i guess i'll just give it to my helping monk, or give it away if i quit gw 4ever in a month..

Here goes mi experience:
I have allways helped newbies like the 20% of the players of all GW. Not any special. I have never done any thing better than helping on taking protector titles or other favors. But I don't consider this things are important because when you help someone is because you value him/her or you find him/her nice.
I only consider important, one thing: what i will do if i get this weapon.
I will sell it to make my brother and me sweet, party animal and drunkard.
I don't know if you consider this as a nice act, but i will be gratefull with you if i won this rare-rare-rare weapon.
I want you to see that this is my first post there.

Well first off He never said it had to be "IN-GAME"...so....here is my story


One day I was walking home from school when I saw this kid around the same age as me. I noticed he was carrying a large amount of school books, and was kind of a "nerdy" little guy.Then I saw these couple of big guys start pushing him around and calling him names. One guy shoved him so hard he hit the sidewalk so hard his books and glasses went flying everywhere, they laughed and moved on, I felt kinda bad for the kid so I walked over and decided to help him pick up the books.He had this look in his eyes like he really appreciated it. I introduced myself to him and asked his name...."Tommy" he said, I asked where he lived and to my surprise it was just a few blocks from my house. I asked why I never had seen him before and he told me he had always gone to private school but his parents could not afford it anymore. I picked up some of his books and offered to help carry some. We talked all the way to his house, he seemed like a really nice guy, so I asked him if he wanted to play some football with me and some of my friends that weekend. He said sure.
Over the next four years me and Tommy became best friends, he really "grew up" and became very popular at school, got all the girls and was voted class vectoring. I was even kinda jealous of my friend sometimes..lol...
Graduation day came and he was so nervous over his speech, I slapped him on the back and told he was gonna do just fine, he looked at me with the same look he had the day we met.
Tommy started his speech that day with a smile, he gave your typical graduation speech, until the end. That when Tommy looked over at me began to tell a story about how he had met his best friend, and how it changed his life. You see the day I met Tommy he had planned to kill himself! He was carrying all those books home that weekend so his parents would not have to clean out his locker. He explained how he just didn't fit in at the new school and he had lost faith in his life, but that changed when he met this new friend. Tommy's parents looked at me and smiled, I didn't know what to think, Tommy had never told me this. He explained to the crowd that day that how we treat each other in this world can really make a difference sometimes, and how a small and simple act of kindness that day saved his life.

And if I won the Sword, I would add it to my collection!

About a day ago i got my guild mate (fionce) a tormented scythe at no charge to them i farmed and sold things and i have a screenshot of the occassion as well.
