Ok now I am seriously confused not to mention a little irritated, are you supposed to help the WM or the SB cos I have missions from both and they are crossing, I have tried doing the portal thing (pro SB mission) but got killed cos I cant place the stones fast enough to keep the WM away, unless your supposed to kill all the WM THEN place the stones?? unless or course they re spawn.
I got hacked off with that, so I selected another quest in my log A Brother's Revenge which I had not completed off I go to do that......
I finish that, I get to THE WILD and I get a mission to help out the WM to find the SB and bring back the chosen, who I have spotted in the distance (just before I got to the portal into the safe area) and they are briefly on my party thing where they were green before I could get to talk to the woman who took them they vanished.
So do you complete the SB story line first or the WM one or do you have to do them at the same time ????? cos one minute I am happily bashing WM skulls despite having been made a WM at the temple of tolerance, the next I am supposed to bash SB skulls instead...any advice would be gratefully received.

first you help the WM, only to discover that they are the bad guys - and then you can guy kill them...

u can do either in any order or none at all
they're really not inter-connected, as in, any choice u make will have no affect on any future choices u can make

Skyy High
The Wild mission is supposed to come before Bloodstone Fen. This is the problem with a completely open world surrounding a definite storyline with a particular order to the missions: if you do the missions in the wrong order, they don't make any sense.
Do The Wilds. The story will be a lot clearer. As for Bloodstone Fen, either you need to do it with a PUG/friends/guildies, or kill the WM before capping the three points, because it's very hard to solo it without heroes.

I would consider youself lucky just do what the gamewiki tells you what to do.When the game first came we didn't have the gamewiki's so we had to figure it out ourselves.

Follow the link notskorn gives - it will help because it gives the order of missions.
If you are in Aurora Glade (not Bloodstone Fen Skyy High) then you skipped two missions at least (I assume you did all missions prior to The Wilds) - those two missions being The Wilds, and Bloodstone Fen.

Hi guys thanks for the replies and the link notskorn.......what I didn't explain is that I got to Kryta through the Sunspear missions given to me in Nightfall, I guess that is why things are not making much sense, I have only been into the Eye of the North briefly up to the point I meet Gwen, I then came back to Istan and carried on from there, would it be better and simpler if I went back to Istan and did several quests in Eye of the North ? This particular character is a level 20 Paragon/Necromancer

Frankly, the presentation of the story does get messy when you reach the Maguuma Jungle. If you just follow the missions, you are a supporter of the White Mantle until you get to Bloodstone Fen and find out what they're really like, at which point you throw in with the Shining Blade. However, the side quests starting at Druid's Overlook often treat you as if you're already supporting the Blade, even though you aren't that far in the story yet and don't know the score.
It is very confusing, and the NPCs shouldn't offer those quests until you've completed Bloodstone Fen, IMHO. Factions and Nighfall are much better about keeping everything in order by tying the availability of certain quests to completion of certain missions. But, once you get out of the Jungle, there are no more confusing areas like that in the rest of the Prophecies story. So, muddle on through and things will clear up.
