As title says... as of right now we can only buy jade and stuff to get faction on the Allegiance Title if our guild isn't of the same allegiance, which nets only 1/2 as much faction.
Allow guests to a guild to donate faction to that alliance. Leaving a guild, joining another, leaving again, and rejoining just to dump faction is extremely excessive and pointless.

/signed, although you know you can buy skills which will give you the double faction same as if you donated. You can do it on each of your characters, and even if you have the kurz version of a skill you can still buy the lux version iirc.

Ive seen people buying faction in AB MANY times.
only difference is that they have to invite as member rather than guest.
And if people really want to buy the faction wtf cares. Doesnt affect you any.

have the option of donating to either faction for double inthe guild halls. donating to opposite faction subtracts from overall guild faction. brings possibility of sabotage tho

There is nothing stopping people from donating faction to the other side.
So if people really wanted to ebay it they can already. The only thing that would change is not having to leave your guild and join someone elses.
This argument from you and the other person talking about selling faction is very bad since its already doable. And already happening.

you can already join the guild donate and leave(besides gvg guilds who don't want to lose faction gain)).... so why is guest donating any diffrent? 100g both ways. Why not sign? Limited amount of guests at one time.

Otherwise, I don't see much need for this idea except if you were in a Luxon guild and wanted to donate Kurzick faction, or vice versa. If you don't spend time on both titles at once (which might be a little counterproductive), then you should just find a guild of your desired allegiance and stay there.

I think it is a good idea. It is like hiring mercenaries in the time of war. Changing guilds to make title easy was quite ridiculous. This will help a lot and more to the guilds than to the players.

Looks like everyone who opposes is just arguing that people will buy faction. I don't really see a problem with buying faction with gold (and I highly doubt people will care enough about owning a town to buy faction on EBay). Seriously, why does it matter to you if some alliance wants to buy faction to maintain ownership of a town?
I'd really like to see a system implemented to allow people to gain 2x points towards allegiance titles without having to be in that particular alliance. PvE skills are only in a limited supply (unless ANet would rather update it so that these can be continuously purchased, which is also fine). The JQ/FA/vanquish update was a step in the right direction to making allegiance titles more feasible; this needs to be implemented to finish what was started. Hopefully this can be included in the April update, or sometime in the nearer future...

Make an option where at least you can give factions without having to join the other side or something for a price at the Factions guy say he charges 1k per 1k factions donation if your the opposite side or something to that effect. I love the guild I am with I wouldn't leave just to donate Kurz points

At the moment a couple of us have already maxed Kurz in my guild, my friend is maxing Lux for his 30th title. Its been a drag but he has already passed the 8 million level on a 1:1 footing trading in for scrolls.... if there was an option to guest and gain the 2:1 would be far easier.
I'm just VQing Mout Qinki for cash, chests, lucky and wisdom points Title would be a nice addition too lol...
