I was scammed, I lost an item. I sent a support ticket, I sent screenshots. If Anet does an investigation and concludes that I was scammed, hopefully they will take action against the scammer, but does Anet return the scammed items? I'm not getting my hopes up...but it would be amazing if they did.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Does Anet return scammed items

No, they do not. They have no way to create items on the live servers. The only way to restore your item would be to roll back the servers to before you were scammed. They will not do this for one player. It is only done when the whole game has been affected by glitch.

How were you scammed? Or is this asking too much?

Anet will take appropriate action against the scammer, but won't return any items lost.

If I am correct, they do not have anything against scamming in the EULA. PLus with the trade box their is 0 reason to get scammed unless you are an idiot.

They rarely take action against scammers at all... people who scam hundreds of ectos each day go free and proceed to sell them for realworld cash because ANet really doesn't care about such things anymore...
That's the feeling I've gotten from their support, at least...

How did you get scammed anyway? There's a trade box so you can see what's going on.

of course not...
all ANET does is nerf all the skills but what needs to be nerfed (ROJ for example) and ban people for swearing and blame there lack of effort in maintaining GW in GW2...which they are stalling b/c they know it can't compete with the quality of games blizzard is developing.
