Whenever I try to log in, the client crashes. I just recently re-installed the game and this has never happened to me before. Can anyone identify the problem and hopefully know how to solve it?

Try a system restore. If it didn't happen yesterday, then it may fix.

Did you install a firewall?

If so, find the settings where you can mark a program you want to run as safe. (as for the many diferant firewalls its not possible to say: "This is how".)
