Had an idea for an interesting potential mesmer skill.

Compulsion (inspiration magic)

Skill Description - Target foe is forced to use one random skill. Target foe also loses one random mesmer hex.

Possibly the requirements for the skill to be effective on the target would be that the foe must have a mesmer hex on them to begin with. Energy cost, recharge time and cast time tbd.

Elite Hex Spell. For 15 seconds, whenever you cast a spell, target foe also casts a spell and all spells activated while under this hex take an additional 2..5..10 seconds to recharge.

that would take such abuse though.

1. hex opponent
2. spam low recharge spell [flare, parasitic bond, overload, wastrels worry]

lol hehe. Fine, how about instead of additional recharge, spells cost additional energy.

There are already way too many skills in the game. This skill has too much synergy (any of your revisions) with other skills. It would make domination (or in Kazi's last suggestion, inspiration) mesmers so hideously overpowered, that they would just annihilate monks in seconds.

Compulsion - Elite Hex Spell
10E - 1 CT - 10R

Target foe is hexed with Compulsion, the next spell cast by target foe targets you instead. Spells that would target you in this way have their effects halved.

I.E. damage is halved, health is halved, enchant/hex duration is halved, etc..

My thoughts.
