Hi all,

just wanted to quickly point out to you that on Saturday the 14th, we will do some Guild Wars activities at Gamerbase in London.

So if you are UK based, and fancy meeting some fellow Guild Wars players, just come along and join us.

Thanks for posting about this Martin! Always nice to see GW related events going on. I wish we could have some more informal things here in North America as well, as it seems you are always partying with the Euros!

Well - it is easier for us to things in London as it is like an hour by train from Brighton. Considering the size of the US, I think it could be pretty difficult to do things on a nationwide basis

@spiritmaster: I would love to fly over to the East coast to do some stuff, but I have this vague feeling that my boss will probably not approve it

PAX has GW events.

Just before Factions came out, AN came to GenCon in Indianapolis to run some sealed deck tournaments. It was a fun time. That was the last time there was a non-West Coast N. America event.

I know that the travel logistics make venues other than Seattle/West Coast tricky. I just hope that there are enough podcasts/videos to give some vicarious sense of fulfillment.

being free to play, GW is actually played by not only a LOT of couples, but also small family units too

I couldn't make it or get cover for it for the station, so I just went with "Not Happening"so I don't get annoyed that I couldn't get the day off work

and HIGHLY doubtful that Regina would be there... I doubt that they would hop her on a plane for it
