I for once wasn't surprised at all at GW being the number 2 MMO. The reason behind that is pretty much all the newer MMOs really tanked imho. I know of countless GW players who left to try out AoC or WAR only to come back to GW a couple of months later. Until something better comes out (D3?), I see GW maintaining its level of popularity.
