Hey guys,

I've had Guild Wars Factions for a long time now, and played it for like 2 weeks at first and then stopped because I was a total n00b or whatever you want to call.

Tryed a few times more but was never been able to really get the hang of this game. ( I first had a monk up to lvl 15 so, well i sucked...)

Now I want to start again
I just made a necromancer for myself (Saeglopur Gong is it's name)
And well I could use some tips and hints in terms of what to do with the dude, and well more like what really NOT to do..

Well I'm looking forward to have a great time here on this board
See you ingame!

Bye,

Sander

EDIT: Hmm I've probably posted this in the wrong board, sorry for that, can somebody move this thread please?

if you are still playing in your original campaign then just stick to doing the basic quests - get xp and level up as much as possible then do the missions and learn how the skills you aquire synagise with each other to make your builds more effective...

as for h/h if you choose to purchase NF - makes the game much simpler with heroes although playing NM can be done with nearly any build and hench setups - if you get NF then check out the h/h AI section for the latest COOKIE-CUTTER builds that are "all the rage"
or alternatively PM me for some alternative builds - can provide for any profession of hero - or can help you with some builds for you - i.e my nec heroes which can be altered for a human player (hopefully you have more intelligence than the hero AI) :P

other then that, you may find you prefer an alternative profession to necro if you find the play style doesn't suit you...

gimme a hit up IG if you want some hero builds or would just like a chat about options - Payne Storm (IGN)

Too bad you didn't make it to level 20. After you hit 20 and get a bunch of skills it starts to get fun. Its even better when you have a good and active guild that will do things with you like DoA and Vanquishing. A good guild should also be able to answer any questions you have in game. For a Necro, MM (Minion master) works well in normal mode. It provides a good amount of damage and a wall to hold back attackers. Take a look at PvX wiki for help with builds when you start off.

Thanks for the replys so far!

I've now done things in the game way easier than before, and I think I'm getting the hang of it.
I just reached lvl 10 and chose to be a Necro/Monk.
But I only use Blood en Death Magic actually.

And yes, I use minions (I like em :3), although I only use that vampire kinda minion atm.
But unlike before I did more with the armor and stuff (and more efficiƫnt)
