Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of choosing a new graphics card to put into my system. I play GW, UT3, and FarCry2. I have tried asking questions on a couple different forums, but have not received any responses whatsoever
So, here's my situation: I have two cards in mind. The first is a PNY GeForce 9800 GT 1G($149). The second is a EVGA GeForce 9800 512MB ($109)
My question is: Should I the extra $40-$50 and buy the 1G card, or buy the 512MB card?
UT3 and FarCry2 both are very demanding games, and I want to know if the extra 512MB of GPU memory will make a decent difference.
Thank You!

Well, as an addition to the help...
The 1G card is designed specifically if you play at higher resolutions (though a 9800GT won't be able to handle FarCry2 at max settings at really high resolutions, keep that in mind)
Honestly, for like 10 more dollars above the 1GB card, you can get a 9800GTX. It will outperform the 9800GT by substantial margins.

if you play at 1680x1050 resolution or lower I would get the EVGA 9800 512... any higher resolution than that and I would def. go for the 1 GB version.
what's your budget btw?
