Minion Master = Campaign?
Nadoku Samin
I'm not sure if this belongs in this area of the forums, but if it does not - I'm truly sorry.
But - what campaign is best to make a MM in? I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but... yeah. >_<
Thank you,

Ghostcell
don't play as a MM, heroes do a better job at it.
run discord or ss

all 3 games have good MM Elites but if id have to start one it would be Factions only because its faster to level up and I like the Fleshy for a Human MM

While I would advise having a hero run [jagged bones][animate bone minions][death nova] if you insist on being the MM probably factions for [animate flesh golem]
FoxBat
[Order of Undeath][Animate Bone Fiend]
Heroes are decent minion bombers, but they're actually pretty bad at a pure minion damage build like that, supported by some barbs/mop. And I'm also seeing their tendency to lag behind the rest of the party casting novas as an increasing liability. [Aura of the Lich] also has some niche applications for intelligent humans.

Well considering [Aura of the Lich] originates in the Prophecies Campaign, by your logic, start in Tyria!
WhiteAsIce
[Aura of the Lich] is not obtainable until the final mission by normal means. The OP would have to either complete the required missions to get there to cap it, or use faction and an elite tome to learn it.

It doesn't matter where you start your necro. All the elites are obtainable anyways.But..
Prophecies: [aura of the lich]
Factions: Don't even bother with [animate flesh golem] total waste of an elite slot and not that good.Although [tainted flesh] +[discord] may have future uses.
Nightfall:[jagged bones]for heros +[order of undeath]for you.Bingo!
Also if you're sensible you would stay away from [animate bone fiend]. While they are a ranged minion they also have one of the weakest armors and tend to clump together tightly making them highly susceptable to AoE.

Ps. Calista I switch between MM's and Olias has Flesh Golem, we make mincemeat of the monsters when vanquishing, I guess it's about how and when you use it

My favorite for human MM is aura of the lich. You get free minions even before killing anything, you get +1 attribute, and when there are multiple corpses available you animate them all with 1 spell. You will raise more minions than you can hold, but thats just fine since you replace the old and most fragile ones.
That would require prophecies since its capped in the last mission, Hells Precipice.

Oh please.Everyone with any sense knows that FG is a terrible useless elite. It's now vastly overshadowed by [[aura of the lich] and [[order of undeath](humans) and [[jagged bones](hero bombers)
The only appeal EVER of [animate flesh golem] is the high level minion.Which is never needed unless you suck horribly at GW.Easily capped newbie elite yes but any decent regular of Campfire/Necromancer(Carinae,Moloch,Xen,Chthon <3 ) will say the same.
On a human MM [order of undeath] + [ebon battle standard of honor] + [animate vampiric horror]

I'd vote for Nightfall. All 3 games offer useful skills for an MM, but Nightfall has the most in my opinion. Skills I use often as an MM:
Prophecies:
[aura of the lich][Animate bone horror][Infuse Condition][verata's gaze][verata's aura]
Factions:
[animate flesh golem][animate vampiric horror]
Nightfall:
[order of undeath][jagged bones][animate shambling horror][feast for the dead][putrid flesh]
Prophecies has the same number of skills, but Order of Undeath on a human MM that knows how to use it is insanely powerful. And Jagged Bones on a hero is able to keep an army running much longer than normal. Outside of Vamp horrors, Factions doesn't really offer anything of use. Golem is way over rated. As the first elite specifically designed for an MM, it got heavy use early on. Later people realized other options were better and have moved away from it. The Verata skills are mainly for dealing with other MMs in places like AB, so you will rarely want or need them in PvE.

Thank you for your help, and I have decided to just let Olias be a MM.

[Order of Undeath] is sex. Heroes can't run this build either.
