Woodelf, I typically don't set buyouts for the featured items unless bidding interest is extremely marginal, only because it deprives other interested bidders of their chance to get the items ( believe it or not, I actually care more about finding good homes for these items than making money, although money is nice too. :3 ) Sorry about that!
There is one caveat: If a buyer won't be able to be online on or near the time that the auction closes, I will accept a proxy bid sent to my inbox. I consider the proxy bid to be current bid +1k until the amount specified has been reached ( for example, if your proxy bid is 20k, and the final bid placed by someone else when the auction closes is 15k, I'll consider your bid to be 16k, but if the final bid is 20k, you will have been outbid ). I prefer not to use this method as it can be a lot to keep track of in the event of multiple proxy bids, but I do want everyone to have a fair chance.
