Full UW with heroes

hi all,
i've been trying this for a long time now but i've never succeeded in completing the underworld with only heroes. I've also been searching the forum on this topic, but i didn't find anything on this topic. (maybe didn't search hard enough ).
My question is can it be cleared with two human players and 6 heroes and if so, what are the builds?

i'm sure it can, it just wouldnt be UWSC you would probably need to run something like in the earlier days before SF and UB

It has been done with 1 p[layer 6 heroes with some interrupts but it was mostly sabway variant, now I think it can be don with d-way. Anyway if you wanna try pm me in game I would too.

Dont you mean 2 players and 6 heroes. 3 heroes each player.
1 player can only have 3 heroes..

I guess it is possible. Most can be done with discord or sabway. The biggest problem will be The Four Horsemen quest.
I reckon you will need some kind of tank (Shadow form most likely) or some hero with [[Spell breaker] to cast on the reaper alongside some [[ward of stability]. Some heavy defense like [[ward against elements], [[ward against harm], [[ebon battle standard of courage],[[stand your ground], [[save yourselves] or [[theres nothing to fear] might be needed. Multiple [[meteor shower] will hurt and I don't think you will be able to stop them all with interrupts, so better to avoid the knocks and reduce some damage taken.
Most other quests are trivial, although Servants of Grenth might be annoying because of multiple meteor showers.

I didn't bother with minions as the harder areas, such as Chaos Planes, don't leave corpses. An MM would be drawing a blank on cases like that, so I decided on a bunch of AoE cursing instead. I'm sure someone else will disagree with my choice though.
Anyway. Just make sure you have the monk, healer N/Rt and the N/Mo with Prot Spirit as your heroes for micro-ing at Four Horsemen.

u could take two permas, do most of the quest with just the two permas under cons, only use the heros when needed. example=vale

1. Minions, as much as I love them, work poorly in UW. Just not enough corpses. So no sabway or discordway.
2. Four Horsemen is the bottleneck. You don't have any really good options here.
The easiest and surest way would be to bring a third player as a perma or obby tank to handle one side. (I've once seen a human trapper slow one side down enough too.) Of course, that defeats the whole 2-players-plus-heroes premise. You might be able to flag a hero tank and micro them, but it would be taxing.
Your second choice is a 4-4 split. That can be done, but you end up gambling that each team's healer -- probably a hero -- is going to stay out of the meteor showers; since you're pretty much sunk if you lose either healer.
The third choice is a 8-0 "split." Bring some potent AoE gimmick like MoP+Hundred Blades+Whirlwind Attack and hope that the first side balls up for an instant-kill, leaving you enough time to get back and save the reaper. This is also risky since, if you don't get lucky with the monster AI on the first side, you lose.
The fourth choice is to fight at the reaper. In my experience, this always goes badly. Sooner or later you fail to keep the reaper prot-ed, and he dies on you. Additionally, all 4 horsemen at once tend to have enough shutdown to destroy your monks.

Yea UW will be a tricky one, unlike FoW which is really straightforward, easily done with 2 player, 6 heroes.

Perma-Form heroes were not that hard to micro, I did one of the harder nightfall quests that way. That was before the latest SF nerf though, there's less leeway for error now...
Perma-Flesh hero might be a little better, but then you have the added dimension of microing obs flesh.

Good topic....I just coincidentally went out and bought GW Trilogy just so I can abuse another act with. Can't wait to figure out whether I can use my heroes while I afk and watch tv. (occasionally flagging them into a mob) Who needs Ursan and SF when you can just let your heroes do everything while sitting back and mindlessly headbutting keyb.....oh wait I don't have to do that either. Sweet...

dont know about you guys but to me it's just sad that you dont even need to play inorder to beat even the hardest PvE areas. your heroes are enough if you only flag them properly.
ok so you cant do The Four Horsemen quest unless you actually play it but everything else is a breeze with the right hero setup :S
and to think that the UW is perhaps the 2nd hardest PvE area(DoA being the hardest)...

Heroes are amazing much better than players for many jobs.
