What is zblock?!?!

A fellow guildy of mine was recently "threatened" by this person to be put on this "zblock", which apparently is a UWSC black list, or so i think. A "fellow" player: don't post names, used multiple accounts to try and get my fellow guildy to pay him 7k to "take him off" of "zblock", the alledged UWSC black list. don't post names, has an alledged" screenshot" of my fellow Guildy failing UWSC, even though my guildy has never ran UW with don't post names, and has never failed UW.

My question is, Does anyone know what ZBlock is, and is there really a UWSC black list, or is this just a mediocre scam?

I've never heard of anything like that, sounds like a pretty lame scam. Next time, don't post the players name, even if they are scamming

I've heard of people keeping track of whos good and whos not but as to an actual list there aren't any proper ones. That guy is an idiot running a stupid scam.

Yeah. The worst you will ever come across are Guild blacklists found on forums. Though even then only people who don't pay or leave for whatever reason are put up there, failure is usually just compensated for by another player.

All in all: Just ignore them.

Have seen this, the guy types text and makes it look like an automated program, with user IDs and shit, I'm pretty sure it's just BS but I dunno.

zblock is a CSS server side plugin to block certain cvars for beeing used ingame.

That means that was a pretty lame scam attempt. Just add that player to the ignore list and report him for harassment.

lolz... ZBlock is from Counter Strike Source... FAIL!!! It's a way to verify people when they join a CSS game server...

My guild mate called me yesterday, asking me who "so and so" was, if I knew him. I told him I had never heard of "so and so". My guild mate was capping elites outside Copperhammer Mines, when "so and so" whispered him, "You have 2 hours to give me 50k or you will be reported for scamming."

I told my guild mate to just ignore him that this guy was trying to scam him. Seems people are so hung up on wanting gold in this game, that they will resort to anything to get it.

Well, I guess he gets props for creativity.

However you could screencap the chatlog and report it via the support feature.

I just recently heard about it in ToA. I don't like it and its really stupid IMO. There's gonna so many scammers because of this program. A-Net should get on this problem quick before it gets out of hand.

Yeah, definitely report him (and via the website support feature rather then in game, they take those more seriously).

^Agreed. Zblock is a legitimate program. However, its just something that has absolutely nothing to do with GW. Not ANet's fault if someone falls for something so lame.

Report the guy, hopefully a timeout will make him less of a loser. And just be weary of someone else trying this again, using some other made up excuse.

You'd think that in all of these posts someone might have mentioned or asked what the *bleep* UWSC is. Call me igerant, call me out-of-touch, but I have no idea what it is. (At least I know what zblock is now )
