All my accounts were deleted!

Not sure what section this belongs in, but yesterday I logged onto Guild Wars only to find all of my accounts were deleted! Thats 1000 hours of GW just wasted! I did the -repair and all that stuff but nothing worked! What should I do?

As far as I know, accounts never get deleted. Sure, they can get hacked, banned, stolen, stripped etc. but not deleted. If you don't know what the problem is, contact support.

Check your computer for viruses, keyloggers, trojans, and whatever other ugly crap that's out there and change your account's PW.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you're probalby going to have to start over with your characters.

Did you have right number of character slots? I get a bug sometimes where it displays four empty character slots (I have about 8) when I log in after being kicked off the game due to lag.

was your password something stupid like "guild wars" "gw" "password" etc... or did you use the same email and password to sign up in a different place? If so, you sir, are in need of some serious common sense!

My password was something I only knew about and understood.
I have not been on 3rd party sites.
I have never given away my password.
I don't think I have any viruses, but I might.
BTW, how do I send a support ticket?

But no if all your chars are deleted that is really a shame, check your computer for keyloggers and other viruses. Your password should not be in the dictionary or even a combination of dictionary words. Random words and numbers.

I am terribly sorry. You should really contact ANET and settle matters. In the time being, run a complete virus scan of all your drives. Common case is that your password was keylogged, phished, or bruted (if it even works for GW).
If you have any passwords which are the same as your Guild Wars' account's, you should change them after a complete confirmation that your computer is clean (or they'll be logged and changed).

my friend just got his account hacked, he was stripped from our guild and hes never been to 3rd party sites, hes a true christian so hes not downloading prn or anything. where EXACTLY should he go to contact ArenaNet about this directly?
