Question about Guild Wars

I bought prophecies 2 years ago, and never really got into it. Now, I'm thinking of really getting into guild wars and buying the other campaigns. How populated is the game these days? Is it still worth getting into?

I still love to play it. However because there are more lands then the days of proph only, So the pop is spread out over a larger ariea. A lot of the older players have moved to pvp after doing everything there is to do in pve so there goes another 1/3 of the original pve pop. As long as you have a good guild with active players (as in at least 30 ppl online a day); they should be able to help with many of your needs and questions. If you wait long enough you will find a party of human members for most missions. A few guild members should be able to join you and help if you ask enough. The new skills you get from another campaign are always fun to play with, and the new professions are something fun to experiment with.

I've played Guild Wars for about 4 years now and it's been an off and on relationship. First I was really into pve, then pvp grabbed and didn't let me go for another 2 years. I quit for about a year and just started playing again with some old friends.

We started clean from the start and we're not getting any runs or anything. I have to say it is very fun. There is still a lot of helpful people out there and prophecies is still populated believe it or not. I'm sure you will be able to get a group with a couple of henchies on the side.

I'm always willing to help to.
