"Guild limbo"

Okay, so I recently invited someone to my guild, and when they accepted the invitation, but they did not show up on the roster. I got pretty ticked because I thought the person rejected the invite just to be a noob and waste me money. But the person swore she did not, so, just because I really needed members, I tried inviting her again, just in case. However, it said she was already a member of the guild. I checked the roster several times over, and she wasn't there. Even the next morning, I checked and the person wasn't on the roster, yet it still seemed like she was in the guild. Do you know what's causing this state of "limbo?"

There have been several cases of bugginess involving guild rosters before.

Ask the initiate if she now has your guild tag after her name. Also, does it say playername is already a member of a guild or ...is already a member of YOUR guild?

did you check the status tab on the guild screen to see if it says, xxxxx invited xxxx to the guild?

This happened to my friend before. The leader just reset their client and it worked. This should work (assuming that you left your client on until the morning before).

Okay, now I'm kinda ticked. I booted up the client and invited her again, and it used a guild. So apparently this person had multiple guild invites, and when I told her how to accept (she was new and didn't know to press G), she accepted the older invite, whether on accident or on purpose. sigh...
