I was wondering if there is a way to change the log in email for a Guild wars account...from what I remember there was this abllity but it isn't there any more

There has never been a way to change the log-in email which is the account name. This would constitute changing ownership of the account which is not allowed.

You can change the contact email address to a valid address. ArenaNet only requires that one of the two email address be valid.

Yeah as Darcy says you cannot change the 'username' to login to Guild Wars as it is now just an ID rathe than an actual email address. You can change the contact email and password though which may have to be done through a PlayNC account.

That is false. Before the in-game store was implemented, it was possible to change your log in email. I changed my log in email before I linked my account to NCSoft in order to use the in-game store.

yep thats what I was looking for. I want to chnage emails as I no longer use the GW log in email that much so I wanted to change it over to one that I do use more.

I said it was possible. NCSoft won't do it if you've linked your account, and since mine is linked, I am uncertain whether it is still possible for those who have not.
