Hello.
i need a new computer, decided i was going to build/ order a custom built one.
But, i live in sweden(-.-) not many places where you can get these things.
i have no problem ordering from outside of sweden, as long as the transport cost isnt too high. but i need some help with choosing parts.
cash limit is 1,200 US dollars. (possibly with a screen in that price)
all help appreciated. and i dont care about the case , as long as it dont look like crap.
Thanks Ahead. i tried to put some parts i want myself , but i end up with a way too high price.

I recommend you buy the parts (case too, of course) and build it yourself. If you go to a name brand website and customize a PC with the parts you like they will turn out very expensive.

Mastaar of Warrior______ what do you want to do with your computer? Do you want it for gaming ( I assume you do), if so what are the games that you will play the most on it? There are some good sites in England that you can either get parts from or a pre-built computer, that will ship to Sweden. It's not practical to try to ship from the USA, as it will be very expensive, even if a site will ship to Sweden (which is not always likely).

Maybe consider looking on ebay for parts or 2nd hand systems. Or link me to a Swedish online store?

Saw this PC on Swedish ebay:
http://www.tradera.com/Monster-speld...ktion_85388383

Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 3,0ghz med hela 6mb cache (3år garanti)
Asus p5k se
Zalman cnps9500led
4gb corsair minne
GeForce 9600gt 512mb
160gb sata disk
Winows Vista 64 orginal installerad
3st 120mm fläktar varav 2 lyser med blått ljus
1st 140mm i toppen

CPU is good
Motherboard is good
Aftermarket HSF is good and unexpected
4GB RAM is good
GPU is budget-mid range, would have no problems with GW
Vista 64 is good
HDD is small

But what about the power supply? Ask them what it is (if your interested in that PC)

I would think shipping a system in from elsewhere would be cost prohibitive due to freight.

I have a similar situation where this computer is about 4 years old. over 4000 hours on it(easy) and now its crapping the bed. So I'm sitting here thinking.. you know what... i'm not gonna settle for the mid level to MAYBE higher end like i did 4 years ago (cost 1500 bucks custom built.. not shabby for the power it puts out). I want something that without going insane( 8 grand+ insane... don't believe me go look at falcon northwest, awesome computers.. just the prices is i can buy a new car with).

So I'm looking at a computer which can play crysis max resolution possibly with the power to kinda "laugh" at its requirements. AND something to meet or even beat the ps3's power. If I have to pay lets just say... 1500 for a computer now JUST the tower. and then i can go buy the keyboard and mouse and better monitor later great. if its that strong(or better) with everything included so be it.

Do you really expect a brand new $1500 PC to beat the mighty two year old $400 PS3?

/sarcasm

No one laughs at the Crysis system requirements when we are talking about high res and max settings.

I find it amusing you put Crysis and PS3 in the same category...

Anyway create your own thread rather than highjacking this one. Also specify whether you want to build your own PC or get a prebuilt.

At $1500 you are looking at:
Core i7 920
ASUS Rampage II Extreme
mushkin 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB
Pioneer Black 216
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX
Antec P182 Gun Metal Black
EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 maybe two of these if you want.

Total with 1 GPU = $1241 (BEFORE REBATES)
Total with 2 GPU = $1471 (BEFORE REBATES)

If you buy what I suggested and build it yourself...

You wins teh interwebs.

Otherwise you lose.
