hidden city quandry

hey guys whats shakin?

i have a couple questions about the hidden city. I recently got a serpentine reaver off one of the djinns runnin around in there. is this a pretty common occurance? i mean reletively speaking. i know they are suppose to be rare but meh, there not that great if ya know what im sayin. I guess i wasnt even aware they dropped there.

Also on GWwiki they say that there is a place NW of the central chamber with riches beyond our wildest dreams. riches that make Modock crevice look like pocket change. I have yet to find this. further more when looking at the list of "do not touch" hidden and buried treasures it lists only one. and thats to the noth-east. any ideas what they are referring too?

well go to the west door and futher you'll find the riches

hmmm that was a mysterious response. however i think (i stress think) i mapped the entire explorable area and did not find anything. is this just a large animation of riches like part of the scenery? i just ran perma sin for the exploring part just to try and find it.

could you please be a little more specific in the location. when i enter the exp area i go left and to the west where im able to. then i end up makin a huge loop. i run into the para derv mes and ranger bosses. id really love to know where this is!

When you enter the hidden city there are 3 passages ahead of you, follow the Right hand one around, and in the chamber it leads to there is a freebie Treasure Chest.

I've no idea regarding the Reaver query.

i got the hidden treasure. its pretty close to the entrance. BUT wiki metions another one. north west of the central chamber. unless i had my compass upside down that doesnt seem to make sense to me.

Wiki doesnt show a map of this Massive loot pile either lol. im thinkin they are speakin in general terms of the loot to be found in the hidden city.

if someone knows otherwise im all ears.

Perhaps it's just something the game mentions to bring a little mystery, intrigue and atmosphere to the game? I've certainly not heard of any other actual treasure in there, that can be collected by players.

The Hidden City probably will have "riches that make Modock crevice look like pocket change" in terms of the general story - it's owned by Princes, not scumbag, thieving corsairs!

meh i figured that was the case. especially when wiki makes no mention of it. Its a nice area to farm in and grab chests but i didnt find it to be all that profitable unless ya love glittering dust lol. i got over a stack + doing one clearing.

They're referring to the Princes' loot stash, found in the north-west part of the area, underneath the platform with 5-6 bridges leading to it. It's decoration, nothing for a player to pick up, since you can't even get to it. I can't believe anyone clearing the area could possibly miss it.

As trickfred says, it's purely decorative.

there is a huge pile of treasures surrounding a treasure chest in there, forget where exactly, but when you go near it a mob of ruby djinns pops that will easily wipe your group if you're not prepared. It's down a dark hallway as I recall.
