Standard A/E with Sliver? You can even go Perma SF and just add Sliver Armor to the build, perhaps even EBSOH

An old guildie and I cleared the mobs and left the bosses with heroes and then flagged them out of the area. I was a Monk and he was a Warrior that used Ursan I believe (after the balance).
I stood back so I wouldn't aggro and healed him when necessary. It took several zones to get the staff to drop (a good +30 minutes). I can tell you that The Trickster drops more often than Iceblood's Warstaff does, lol.
Just find yourself a friend that has the patience to do this over and over again. It's the only way I know how to farm these bosses.

here's how to farm virtually any boss in all the GW games:

1. Clear with h&h, flag away
2. Lay down about 5 spirits (don't even need to be Rit primary), aggro with painful bond
3. Profit

that elite is signet of ghostly might btw.. and yeah hero's pretty much ruined the elite of farms we used to enjoy.. back when there was no heros, there was just a handful of guys doing high end solo farms =]
