they have changed alot for this topc, been trying to read though it all.
man thing 6 have to be from the guild now not 4 for gvg along with other things.

Guild Participation

For a team to be eligible, at least four (4) of the eight (8) members of a guild's team in a daily GvG automated tournament must have been a member of that guild for fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the tournament. The other four (4) players on the team can be guild members, guests, Heroes, or henchmen."

"MONTHLY AUTOMATED TOURNAMENTS

Guild Participation

At least six (6) of the eight (8) members of a guild's team in a monthly GvG automated tournament must have been a member of that guild for at least fourteen (14) full days prior to the announced start time of that tournament in order for the guild to compete. The other two (2) members of the team must be members of that guild but do not have to meet the fourteen (14) day requirement."
Still the same nothing has changed in this regard.

i must of misread , they say things changed but what then

They updated this portion, in the Universal Rules:

"Players/guilds are expected to behave in a respectful and sporting manner at all times.

Players/guilds are expected to not participate in any form of ladder or match manipulation. Ladder or match manipulation is defined as any actions taken to (i) fix or manipulate the outcome of a match or (ii) alter or manipulate the rankings or ratings of the tournament ladder, which deviates from guilds actually playing and completing battles in good faith. Throwing matches or getting your opponent's to throw them to you are examples of ladder manipulation because ratings and rankings are changed without actual game play taking place."

I believe this was addressed due to the mess last month with rawr.

They have an error in the first bulleted item.

All Guild Wars players and guilds who meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein are eligible to compete in this online tournament series. All Guild Wars players and guilds are eligible to compete in the 2008 Tournament Series, except those players and guilds that have been disqualified for any reason including but not limited to those listed below. This is a skill-based tournament determined by each guild's or individual's ability to defeat other guilds or individuals.

That should say 2009, I would think.
