Do you recieve drops while dead?

Do you recieve drops from an enemy that dies while you are dead?
I'm asking because I'm farming a boss with [Weaken Knees], and he normaly kills me first and than dies himself.

In my case the entire party would be dead as I am the only one. I don't know if that makes a difference. I at least don't get the Asura Bonus while dead.

while farming with H/H, I have indeed gotten drops while being dead -- never anything good, but it also has only happened a few times

After the farming tax (Loot Scaling) has been shaved from the top, all the remaining loot is distributed randomly to any and all party members within radar range of the dying monster regardless of their particular orientation relative to the ground. This also includes heroes and henchmen.

I know that I've done keg-farming, and I drop all the kegs, shadow form ends, I die, then the kegs explode and all the monsters die. The only loot I've gotten like that has been map pieces and lockpicks. If I'm alive I'll get the golds, event items, etc... but if I'm dead I never got any drops.

If you are in the radar and your name or his name isn't greyed out they will get drops.

i have farmed raptors with a derv for a while and its not uncommon to die before some of the raptors... i still get same number and quality of drops..covah and tmakinen are absolutly right
