The Egg Hunter

Well... I tried doing it. The man (who's name starts with an F; don't exactly remember) got the last two eggs, but at the beginning, one monster was stuck. I couldn't shoot it without being stopped by an obstruction...

My NPC kept running out, coming back, repeat, in the same place when I was near the eggs. I proceeded to work my way back to the entrance, and he was a bit far from the eggs when he came running toward me, but he then turned away and ran for me directly. He seems to just hate those eggs. >_>

Any tips?

Since you haven't completed the quest and taken the reward, you should be able to simply go back to town then come back and re-do the quest. Or abandon it when you're in town and then take it again when you go back to the cave. A stuck foe is very unlikely to happen twice in a row.

You don't actually have to escort Fadden back, which is handy as sometimes he can get stuck in the nests.
