The previous french cm (julien crevits) leaved (for personal reasons...nothing related with the creation of ncwest) several weeks before the closing of ncsoft europe.
Mmm...I would send my application for this job, but my "spoken english" is not perfect

Well, you know what's really funny NiukNiuk, is that in the job description and requirements it doesn't even say you have to be fluent in French! Let alone English.
NiukNiuk
haha yeah I just saw this ^^

Or they could just find a multilingual Community Coordinator. I'm pretty sure the general feelings and ideas expressed within the German/French communities are rather similar. Although I figure they must have data that shows having 3+ Community Coordinators will warrant the cost.

I would think they would want to post their listing in both English and French.
Regina Buenaobra
The listing has been posted in the French fansite forums. We require the person in this position to be fluent in English and in French, and we do have a French speaker here who will be able to gauge how fluent the candidate is. Because ArenaNet is an English-speaking company, the job listing is posted in English.
I would also like to add that our preference is for people who are eligible to work in the Untied States.

"Bonne chance" to all the candidates! A very good news.
In a different life, I'd apply without the shadow of a doubt.

Wow, that would be cool ! I could do it, as I speak English, French and Spanish fluently, and I am about to start studies in Languages ! Too bad I can't work in the United States. :/
Bonne chance au futur CM !

Anyway this would be cool, i think thye should give us redux of Gailes farewell party for those who left

Hmmm a CM of which (since Gaile) we see little value. Why not another developer for GW1 instead. More content wins.

It is my humble opinion that they should expand their budget and hire Alizée as their French CM.

Application is missing one thing (just to be safe):
7. If instant teleportation is ever developed, candidate must be able to keep fans off ArenaNet property, as well as be able to strategically advise and coordinate the efforts of the riot police.
My money is on some Canadian guy. Getting an actual French person fluent in English to move to the west coast is a tall order. Such a person has no shortage of job opportunities in France.
