Ye salvage the mods and merch the bow. very, very, very common.

Also, never mod weapons up just to sell them. It won't increase the price by as much as the mods were worth separately, and it won't help an unwanted weapon sell (unless people are just buying for the mods, in which case adding them to the weapon was pointless).
