Solo Vaettir farming

I tried searching for this but I am sure I am spellings Vaettir wrong which is probably why I didnt come up with any results.

Anyways, Does anyone have a solid build for this? I was shown yesterday how to farm these by an Elementalist/Mesmer who could kill them all in less then 5 minutes.

I ran the build I use for farming raptors which keeps me alive but dosent kill very effectivly. It took me about an hour to kill all of them. Not very effective if your trying to farm.


What I am looking for is a build that will kill these mobs a little bit faster.

My sliver armor does 14-16 damage against Raptors, while only doing 3-4 against the Vaettir's.

Keg Bombing.

You Leave from Sifhalla, Grab Mr Blackpowder and run the long way around. You then kill them with the kegs.

I can usually clear the lot in about 2 minutes (once you have set up the farm and run there)

they have high armour against elemental damage thats why you do such little damage. Good news is they deal earth damage so you can go out with the standard obsidian earth tank, with mantra of earth and sliver armour and just let them kill each other. I like to hit them 5 times to crystal wave, and its factions equiv, then use sliver armour. Ot just wack them with 6 hits of crystal and that other one.

Will have to try the keg bombing. Do I need to use Hero's/ hench to get there? or can I just run?


Also, how far of a run is it? Do you I leave Sifhalla and run into Jagga Moraine? or do I go through Drakkar lake>Norhart Domains>Bjora Marches>Jaga Moraine?

apparently you're not so clear about it. keg farming means you pay that blackpowder dude to follow you and you use him to kill . yes you go by drakkar lake.

no you don't need h/h. you're bar would be a normal a/e running bar with [i am unstoppable] and you'd pay that blackpowder dude ( he spawns at drakkar lake thats why you have to run from drakkar lake ) to follow you

just do permasin bar with run skills or an earth ele (but they are slower), or an almost permamesmer. build is pretty much the same as voltaic spear run for sins
