As Lyynyyrd said, merching it is your only choice. Unfortunately, the general community doesn't typically buy non-max items. Sorry mate.

req5 shields can drop with 13 armor and even those are unpopular - too low.
single mod tyrian/canthan shields are worthless, with very few exceptions.
