Hey,

Easy question, what I like to see in GW:
Target of Target

Seen it in other mmo's, some other mmo's need an Add-on for this one,
but I this is isn't possible with TexMod, so no use.

What you think of it?

NO!

to involve targeted adverts, means seeing what i look at online and I sure as hell don't want any spyware type crap on my system

I would uninstall Guild Wars for it

I think he means "adds" as in "add-ons" not ads (with one "d" signifying an advertisement).

So, he wants to see who his called target is targeting?

Yep, I think he wants to see that and party members target.

For example: you click on the health bar of another of your party members and see who is his target.
Seen this in another MMO, but it is not particularly useful.

Well, isn't that what calling (ctrl) and following that call (t) is for?

The way I read the suggestion, you are able to click a monster and it displays which of your teammates it is attacking. Although this is already easy to see, because the monster is facing his target.

Sigh.. guys, seriously.

'Target-of-Target' is known add in online games.
When entering any sort of pvp zone, you check all your enemies and you can see
who they are all targeting from your party.

And this also can bring up confusing. If all enemies are targeting your Mesmer, and run
up to begin fight, they suddenly jump over to Monk.

So there's not really a advantage or disadvatage about this, just handy.

not to mention, GW never stores who/what each person is currently targeting, and to add that data as well as transmit that data to everyone is very costly in terms of network usage. it will never be added for this reason alone. GW's servers are bad enough as it is.

Yes, but the other teammate must do the "call", otherwise you won't know his target.

The feature in the other games will show the target even if your teammate doesn't "call".

Yep I agree.
I don't think it is particularly useful.

So, me as a Monk in GvG, there will be a display tagged to an enemy Warrior which is showing to be bashing on our Mesmer. The display shows he suddenly switches to our second Monk, and in advance I can easily protect that Monk with my Protective Spirit?

If so, sounds like fail to me.

Bad idea. Interpreting the movement of enemies and pre-protting based on that is an important skill in GW, as is masking your target as a warrior by not running straight at him, which is partly why shadowsteps are considered so skill-less and bad for the game.
