Hey guys, just wanted to see peoples different oppinions.

Tell me what mods you have for your daggers and why?

PvE: Elemental. Sundering is near useless and vamp isn't worth the trouble. Adds extra damage if I want to run conjure and lets me strike warriors down easier if I see the need to. Also, fortitude.

PvP: Fortitude and basically all useful mods on switch, like elemental, sundering, vampiric, zealous.

ok.....ill tell you all my sets....

i have my enchanting sets for when i break the game and use shadow form....most mods i use for enchanting sets are

ench-vamp-15 while enchanted
ench-zealous-+5 nrg or 15 while ench

fortitude-vamp-15/stance or 15/50
fortitude-zealous-15/stance 15/50


when i run enchanting and vamp i do it cause i need to do big dagger damg while maintaining SF

enchanting and zealous cause i have some higher costing daggers skills and need to have as much energy as i can so i can maintain SF

fort-vamp for big damg chains in pve
fort-zeal for high energy/big damg chains in pve


theres more i just dont know why i use em :P

I use a plus Zealous +30 HP and a 15^50 or +5.
Zealous: to help gain energy
+30: extra health
15^50: extra damage OR +5: for extra energy if i need it

I only use a sin in PvE, and I use:

+5e inscrip, because the +15% only affects the 7-17 base damage. That's a measly +1-2 damage. Not very impressive.

Zealous, cause it's godly e-managament on top of Crit Strikes, and cause I have nothin better.

+30 for obvious reasons.

I run 3 daggers

Zealous 15^50 Fortitude

Vampiric 15^50 Fortitude

Icy +5energy of Enchanting

Zealous is when I need to gain energy, vampiric is for most battles *except when short on energy* and ENchanting is when I face a lot of blind and cannot get hits to restart Critical Agility/Defenses - and for dagger Perma SF.

PvE: Zealous 15^enchant of Enchanting. More energy is good and more critical agility is good

PvP: don't really use a sin here but I'd run vamp, elemental, and zealous or crippling, all 15^50 +30hp, with a furious spear/shield set

use vamp for bosses or in pvp while attacking, use zealous if I need energy or against regular fights cause the vamp isnt necessary for them

Pve, who cares?

In PvP

Vamp, for maximum spike ability, Zelous, obviously used if energy is lol, and elemental ( normally shocking) when I vs warriors.

sundering is bad for daggers btw

Xuekao for walking around and initiating critical agility (15^50, sundering, 20% ench)
Chkkr for attacking (15^50, vamp., fortitude)

... unless I'm doing my double strike/crit build with spinal shivers --> then it's 15% vs. hexed foes, icy, fortitude

Zealous, Vampiric, Poisonous, and Elemental - depends on the build I am running, but Poisonous is the least used.

Fortitude or Enchanting - normally Enchanting, cause I always have at least 1 enchantment on my skill bar, and making it last longer is useful.

+5 energy or 15^50 or 15^enchanted. I typically use +5 energy, but I have a few green daggers that come with 15^50. Since the 15% damage boost only applies to the dagger damage (7-17), not the skills, I'd rather have a mod that can be useful. 8-19 damage isn't worth losing the ability to use a skill. Having an extra 5 energy allows another use of an attack skill or defense when it is needed.

Zealous is what I use most, but I swap to Vamp after a fight begins, and back to Zealous if having energy issues. My biggest problem is I have too many daggers, as the mods vary greatly based on the build I'm running. I have 14 sets total, so if I'm an indication, there are lots of options that can be used.

Fortitude, Zealous, and 15^50...as Igor already said, energy and health is good, keeps you alive and allows you to keep doing good damage.

PvE = Vampiric 15^50 +30 hp. with critical agility, you wouldn't have problem with energy management.

Farming = Zealous 15^50 +20% enchant. the 20% enchant mod helps to increase the duration of enchants casted like mystic regeneration.

PvP = Zealous 15^50 +30 hp. you need as much energy as possible so that you'd be sure that you can complete your spike.

PvP ( against warriors ) = ebon 15^50 + 30hp. so that you won't trigger the 20 more AL against warrior.

These are the ones I spend most time on.

PvE: +30, Zealous, 15^50
PvP: +30, Vampiric, +5e

15^50 or whatever other version is useless on daggers Imho. as others have said it only affects the 7-17 thus adds at most 2 damage.
there are really 3 good sets to use:
Vamp +5 of Fortitude/Defense
Zealous +5 of Fortitude/Defense
Elemental +5 of Fortitude/Defense

for perma form or other farming build just use a staff with 20% enchantments in your 4th slot...
