Do you regret character names or campaigns ever?

Name, yes. Campaign, no. With few exceptions, campaign is irrelevant once you're at a port town, which comes quickly in 2/3 campaigns.
Name (and name change) has been discussed into the dirt a thousand times before, so expect lots of flames, particularly because within your first 4 posts you started a rather useless discussion thread.

I certainly wish I hadn't started a trend with mine.
I started off with Kedric Trolltwatter, a wammo who only discovered how apt his name was when he finally reached Droknar's Forge.
The name amused me, so I continued with Kedric Yetitwatter, Planttwatter, Dwarftwatter, Grawltwatter, Deathtwatter, Eletwatter, Messytwatter - it ended up being an annoying enough trend on its own, but when you consider the fact that most of those Kedrics are actually female characters...
I had much more fun with my mules - Stor Mai Stuf, I Am A Cupboard, I Hold Your Tackle and, my personal favourite, Genesis P Storage.

i do regret it too, made my monk with a reason to only farm with him so really didnt bother with name too much, but after i finnished NF to farm doa and some other missions in other campaigns i realized how cool monking actually is and continued playing him as my main. Only after some months i realized how lame "Dragon Healer" sounds

I'm pretty satisfied with my character names, and campaigns, as I choose campaign mostly for which one has the most appealing looking version of the profession I'm making. Now, whether I'm happy with the professions I've chosen to invest in is another question, and one I certainly am stuck with.
Yeh i wish i could change toon names, when i first started aged 13 i couldnt think of a name so i gave my first toon my full name ¬_¬ which sounded horrible. But he got deleted when someone stole my account ¬_¬ Other than that im ok with my names, Maximus T Pain, I Enchanted Me I = Two main chars, Haung Sai wish i could change now, but don't mind, not terrible. Rest are pvp which i delete - recreate regually with names like Range Yo Real Good, Smonking Time lol.

Heh, nope, not at all. I made my names with the thought that they should be poetic and also not stupid. See my IGN on the left as an example.
I resent that. I left and came back a few times. But, I'll say this, when I first created my characters (in March '05), names like "White Dragon," "White Paladin," etc, were all gone. They started the beta in December as I recall, and it makes me wonder if the guys with those names are around anymore.
Oh yeah, as for campaign. I would definitely avoid started NF if I can help it. I much rather have leveled up heroes than to babysit them and level them up.

The only thing that irks me about character names is when I can't use one that's already taken and there's a good chance that person isn't playing anymore.

I give my characters actual names that are appropriate to the campaign I start them in (ie Factions characters have Asian names, Nightfall characters have African/Middle-Eastern names, Prophecies characters have European names), and I always spend a bit of time coming up with the name so I can make sure I come up with something I like.
Campaign, nope, because it's easy to go to a different one.

I choose my names and campains very carefully, so I don't regret anything.
The closest to regrets I have is a mispelling of my ele's name Fengh Huang, I didn't discover the error untill she had the tengu mask. The name doesn't seem bad but she was named after one of the Chinese holy animals, si-ling, feng huang is a phoenix, fengh huang is nothing.

Names
One in particular. My elementalist. I named him on a whim from what my old boss used to call one of my fellow employees at the time. All my other names came easy, but i could not find the inspiration for him. I stopped playing him for awhile due to ele's in tyria were/are very suspect. By the time i wanted to get back into playing an ele, he was already 2-3 years old and had 15k armor. Seemed like a big waste of money/time to redo him for a name.
