Is Max Armor Necessary for an A runner?

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if I should invest into max armor for my secondary assassin (made specifically for running)

It seems that SF will make it unnecessary to get the extra armor points, though I could be completely mistaken

Thoughts?

being secondary assassin means you cannot keep SF perm, thus theres gonna be down time, time where you can take dmg, and besides there are a few skills that hit through SF, mostly in hard mode but never the less, its a good idea to get full armor yes.

Get max armor.
Certain skills go through Shadow Form, and when you don't have max armor
and those skills get you, I'm pretty sure you'll either be dead, or close
to being dead.

Sorry, there was a misunderstanding

My main is a monk, I made a secondary character which is an Assassin

And thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to grab the max armor then

Perhaps he means he already has a main character of a different class, and his assassin was just created for running.

Either way, Max armor is going to be necessary as already stated because a lot of skills hit through SF, so invest the 7k and save the headaches.
