playoffs were 2 weeks ago(?), so it should be today

usually you see a news post about the monthly playoff on gw.com on the day of the build. not there yet

They said they would come the first week/Thursday of every month, but we seem to get them every second Thursday. Who knows.

It's been the second Thursday of the month for a while now. I doubt it will happen today, but you never know

Agreed. But didn't they get it out the first Thursday last month? And the tourney took place on a similar weekend then.

A Sylvari tonic would require a lot more work than adapting an existing creature model though, wouldn't it?

well, assuming anet IS actually working on GW2, all it would take is to import a model with textures, since they SHOULD have a working model of a Sylvari by now.

Didnt we see a sylvari in the movie after killing the great destroyer in eotn? If so, some of the artwork is in place, shouldnt be too hard to turn it into a tonic. It isnt like anet need to work out what skills etc it gotta have.
