I'm really not surprised with somebody having max zaishen. When the title was first announced, some people had a lot of RPs still stockpiled. Plus, they used to sell for ~2k before the title, so some people could have been lucky and stockpiled then. In fact, I'm pretty sure somebody got max z-rank within the first 2 weeks of it being out.

This math isn't hard.

Suppose that zkeys were still 5k. You need 20,000 keys to max the title.

Throughout this game, efficient farms (the sort that get nerfed) have been worth 50k and up per hour.

This implies 2,000 hours of time (invested efficiently) needed to have the necessary assets to get the title.

This game has been in release for nearly four years. In four years there are 35,064 hours. (365*24*4, +24 hours for the leap year)

Conclusion: Anyone that used their time efficiently could easily have the necessary assets to have 20,000 zkeys, without having to ebay or even power trade. The time commitment comes out to an average of ten hours per week since release (although in reality you would have had to farm when it was efficient and not farm when it was not).

Further, I've discounted all the various "instant wealth" effects that have taken place since release. (asian minis, Rollerbeetle racing, 2007 dupe inflating the price of high end items, etc.) For instance, anyone fortunate enough to have scooped up a mini Kanaxai for a couple thousand ecto a couple of years ago could sell the mini and max the title several times over.

The picking up the items, and just the time required to open the chest is insane. I have a friends who gave up on trying to get a unded island guardian, and just decided to go for maxing zaishen. He started blowing 10k zkeys right after the update, and i still don't think he is done blowing all the keys.
With the current market, unded islands are worth the same as max zaishen, and there prices just keep going up.

Since when are Undead Islands worth 15,000 ecto? Kanaxi I could understand maybe (crazy ass people for a mini pet that doesn't get you jack).

Didn't realize that many people had the title maxed though, although it doesn't really surprise me either.

They AREN'T worth that much, people seem to overestimate the value of a lot of items.

I don't even think kanaxais are that much.

Yes, I'm one of them and no, I dont need to buy gold I got a few congrats when I finished (mostly Euro as it was like 2am PST) but also a couple of QQers, like always.

Like always, people make incorrect assumptions and think they are clever. FYI, I have over 20, many were got before there was such a thing as additional slots available - running multiple guilds with storage for everything that might be needed to help guildies takes a lot of space.
Having said that, I didnt pass up the chance to get extra accounts from amazon for $5 each.

800 zkey from a single person gvging in one night? doubtful.. even if everyone paid all there zkeys to one person they earned and charged. Setup time and time playing in match just don't think theres enough time in the day.

800 keys times 5,000 blth faction to buy them. 4 mil total balth earned.
100 keys per person still 500,000 faction in one day.

I think he's talking about exploiting a certain "feature" of the way that ladder matches currently work. Presumably (I GvGed heavily, but waaaay back in the day), in addition to the false victory needed to +1 the title track you also receive champ range faction for the false victory.

Do that enough times, and you'll get a lot of keys.

You should also get banned. But that's just one man's opinion.

We had this conversation in AC few days ago. I never imagined so many people actually cared about this title. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing a totally different game.

sync champ guilds it when americas off to bed

do about 30-42 runs a night? ( assuming this person has 4-8 champ guilds for sync rank 100-150 range, therefore u never see them on obs )

about 1-5minutes per point

and u probably will never intersect their matches as all party members most likely cross out GW when the guild faces an unknown one

wouldnt take long to achieve max zrank at all about 1 months of work or less if he does frequently

not saying people with high zrank did this but this is possibly the fastest/easiest way

also they can make more champ points in a week more than any top gvger can make in a month
