Defeating The Glacial Griffon

Hello

I have been looking for a build to beat the glacial griffon. I have tried different E/M E/RT and E/R builds which arent working for me. The closest I have gotten was with a spirit spamming build, when I died he had 25% health left.

Any suggustions for a build?

If it's the spirits that are getting you, try luring him back then concentrating on him.

Ele is the easiest profession to use to beat him. But if you are having too much trouble, incorporate [grenth's balance] into your build. You should be able to piece the rest of it together.

Also, you can use consumables if you feel the need.

I went as /me in my derv. Brought conjure phantasm, conjure nightmare, cry of pain, and either nightmare(kurz/lux.) you move like a dwarf, and echo/archane echo. All u really need is 1 hex, but i brought 3, cuz they were avalibe for me. what i did was i used all my hexes echoed cry of pain archane echo the echoed cry of pain, spam cry of pain when griffon get near u, use u move like a dwarf

theres a great X/R build on wiki that has worked everytime (3 characters) for me.

It uses burning arrow{E} and apply poison with a couple of other things. Very easy with a longbow...

E/R bring Apply Poison, Favorable Winds, Savage Shot, Storm Chaser. Go onto the hill with a Long or Flatbow and degen him to death

Yes Nec secondary for any caster and MM makes it easy as there are already heaps of bodies lying around anyway.

I've killed him easily with /R. Just take some degen stuff and storm chaser + interrupts. Except with sin i went A/D with wounding (it took me about 20 secs ^^).

The guy who came up with this build is in our guild and he was quite helpful and basically said just be patient. A few times I wasn't and I died, so patience is so important.

The only thing I did differently was use Troll Ungent instead of Feel No Pain (because I don't have that yet) for health and added [screaming shot] which I was able to get off once in a while.

As the info page mention, you'll do a lot of running. Oh, and I also had a poisonous longbow to boost the poison time by 33%. That helped.

Go A/Rt, A/N or A/R instead - assuming you have the capability of changing secondary.

Maybe you can do him with something from the PermaSin line otherwise.
