Mox with a bow

Not sure if this should get posted here or in the bugs section

I tired Moxx as a wind prayers ranger Just for something new I gave him a Bow. Well he must be confused a bit becuase when i run in to aggro he is right on my tail and thumps them with his bow right in there faces.

Only thing I can think of is that with enchantments he thinks he needs to get close because of AOE. But he does not have any that do damage. Any way posting here to see if anyone else has noticed it. Sounds like it might be a bug. I recall an old one where heroes would attack in melee if you did not give them a weapon. Might be related but not sure.

Are you sure you haven't given Mox a touch skill? It used to drive me nuts that the Modnir Centaur rangers would run right into the melee waving their bows around, until I found out they have a touch monster skill. I will have to check later if i do it is [test of faith] but I thought I took it out before my test run with him.

You want to see something really funny? Take Master of Whispers to Slavers' Exile, and make sure he has [blood ritual]. The moment your tank cats a spell he will run in and commit suicide. And at the next fight, he will do it again.... and again... and so on.
