So a buddy got a battle pick of warding icy. Take a look at this 15% damage -1 regen. >_< is that normal? Anyone know anything about it? Is it valuable?

It's normal, just a rare inscription. Not very valuable if I'm right.

Yes it's normal, but relatively rare. It's one a few damage mods that are not available on inscribable weapons.

it's relatively rare proph/factions drop, though it's not worth too much... only real use is for GvG to kill yourself faster (people get body blocked and you kill yourself so that you can respawn back at your base)

It's non-inscribable, but yes.

There are +15% -1 health regen

and

+15% -1 energy regen

There also used to be +15% unconditional... but I belive that stopped dropping ages ago.

- edit -

The reason it isn't valuable, is that you're over 50% health almost all the time... So the 2 damage per second to keep +15% damage under 50% hp isn't worth it.

If someone really cared about the damage, they'd simply take a +20% under 50% and use it as a weapon swap.

Though personally, I really really liked my r9 fellblade, +15% -1 health regen, ended up selling it for around 35k though.

Seeing the dozen or so threads asking about them in the last month, it would appear its no longer that rare an inherent.

It's worth quite a bit to the right buyer; there are instances when you'd want to suicide, and this makes it twice as fast (pop a vamp mod on their as well).

Not sure, but being the fact that it's one of the only axe skins with piercing damage as opposed to slashing damage, it could make a difference.

QFT

Something tells me that someone's been messing with the drop rates.

To bad it is not 15^50 and that inscription and had a mod vrs the foe you are fighting and customized...
You could make the damage 9-42 which is a Lot better than 6-28 that is for sure.

Huh?? First that makes no sense and it doesn't really have anything to do with what OP is asking. I've had a few +15% -1 weapons but i got them all as drops from the pre nightfall days

it used to be rare, but in the past couple of months there have been a lot of threads with the same question as yours, so no its no longer what id call rare. its not useful for most normal circumstances but if you do find a right bidder it can be worth a moderate sum.
