Finish it? Meaning doing the missions? Not very long if you're a competent player. Say 10-15 hours.
That's just the main quests, though. Actually doing it all will take you much longer.
There are a large number of dungeons, some of them quite difficult. Lots of faction-specific quests that have PvE skills as rewards, the armor that requires a title to obtain, as well as the Hall of Monuments.
So get it, definitely. I've spent more time in EotN than Nightfall on my main character, and I've had EotN for much less time.

^ agree with above post, it does have alot to do, ive probably spent more time in EoTN than any other campaign, most probably because of the optional dungeons, the story line should take 10+ hours if you know what your doing, maybe 20+ if your new to the story line. But like i was saying, the story line isnt the only thing there, dungeons are fun to do.

10-15 hours, really? How do you level your character that fast? AND get through all the quests? You must be very skilled.
Not sure how long i've played, but i think i've spent, say around 50 hours now.. i'm at Gunnar's hold, lvl 17, nearly 18.. Monsters are getting tougher too.

Uhm... I was level 20 long before EotN came out, and I did everything that could be done in the preview weekend, then picked it up afterwards.
Am getting my monk through it now, and in 3 days of 4hrs/day, she only has to do Destruction's Depths and Time for Heroes left. I didn't even play just on her, either.

Last time I went through and completed eotn I did in about 6-7 hours.
Though, thats probably my 6th time doing it. It'll take you a good while the first time through, and some parts are pretty challenging.
I'd recommend you buy eotn not for the storyline, but for everything else. Dungeons and dungeon exclusive weapons. Super useful Norn/Asura/Dwarven title track skills. Lots of faming eotn is probably my favorite game, content-wise.

The dungeons alone are worth it.

After running all 10 of my characters through eotn, I would agree with the 6-7 hours for an experienced, already level 20 person to just run through the main storyline to finish the game. Excluding side quests, dungeons etc. And after running all my characters simultaneously through each of the games, for some reason eotn annoyed me more than the rest, and I have no idea why. Perhaps its the constant cutscenes after every single mission and quest and in the middle of everything, even though I skip them on my slow connection they're annoying.

thanks, i might pick it up. i mainly want it because of the story + dungeons.
also in the MOX quests in the tutorial part there was this asura (forgot his name) who actualy spoke to me w/o cutscene (audio), are there more of these npc's? because i can't recall this happen in any of the other campaigns
