i was wondering, since i always get junk from the zchest, is there anyway to raise the chance of getting rare items? ive wasted 28k on zaishen keys and only got about 2k worth of stuff and it makes me mad.

its a gamble, you know what a gamble is right? I've spent 434k on it so far, most expensive thing i got sold for about 100k+9e. So yeah your 28k aint that much to be complaining about

I've used just over 200 keys now, best drops being Elite Ritualist Tome*1, R9 Gothic Sword =/.
You'll very likely never make money, unless you got an Everlasting within your first few keys and stopped, causing angry people on R5/6 with no Everlasting tonic to hunt you down :P.

yah people have used 600+ keys without anything worth anything

My Opinion: Since people are buying and selling keys at 3.5k right now, i use mine since youl make nothing selling them. From this week i used 6 and all were gold weaps including a celestial sheld, only one were the creme things. So i think just use them and hope for the best

Think of it this way..... if EVERYBODY made a profit off the z-chest, then keys would just cost more (otherwise, people would just open the chest themselves rather then selling the keys and making less money).

lol 28k, i recently used 377 keys and didn't get one drop worth selling.
and before that i had already used 560 keys and still not had one thing worth sellling, so unless you have extra money or really, really want the emote, just stay away from the chest =D

As hawk said... their cant be an absurd profit from the ZChest. You have to make a loss, otherwise everyone would do it. As it is the value of the zkeys is basically equalled against the value of the average return, + title points + possibility of making money.

people complain about everyone getting z-keys enough as it is from tourny predictions. No thanx for better drops when keys are so abundant. drop rates reflect the availibility of keys.

Wasn't the z-chest designed as a gold sink anyway.. You can just add your spent gold to the never ending stream of disappearing gold going into that naughty chest.

Wow, only 28K!!? That's a lot!! I got all the way to r5 and got nothing of value just merch food, consider yourself lucky, it is just a gold sink if you get profit back good for you but if you can't afford it and a measly cry over 28k don't do it.

I have spent 266 keys now, most of them earned from torunament predictions, zaishen trap and jade quarry. On the first 200 keys I got several valuable goldies and elite tomes and earned around half the value back. After the 200th key I got utter crap, most valuable item was a lockpick. It isnt worth it unless you have BIG excess cash or earn many keys yourself. I just do it because I like the gamble, maybe I will one day get that everlasting hehe.

<---- spend 500 k on z-chest with only 1 good drop ever (got celestial sword r9 insc that I sold modded as a caster sword for 35 k). Even so I don't complain. I love the z-chest ^^

I have never used a key or owned one. I saw the everlasting that I WANTED and you guessed it...and very soon to spend my stash on the everlasting that I want. The older ones are starting to go down in price woot.

To the OP: Everyone who uses a lot of keys on the chest loses money. Ask almost anyone, "I used 60 keys and didn't even get 9 eternal blades wow i'm unlucky."
I've gotten an everlasting from it before, but that still doesn't pay for the other hundreds of keys. Don't use the zchest 4 times and expect to get anything good.

I agree on this. Ive spend over 10 mill on the zrank, never got an everlasting or eternal blade. Some other ok drops like celestial compass, Draconic Aegis.
But I don't care about the drops. When I go out to open the chest, we have and 8/8 team. My friends will join me and we will laugh at all the drops. It's just the fun behind it.
Besides, the profit I would make of the drops, I would buy more keys from it anyways.

The Z-Chest has an awesome drop rate. Its chance to spawn someone hoping to make it rich off a single Z-Key is astoundingly close to 100%, didn't ya know?

Human beings are just amazing to me. Intelligence wise we are absolutely the highest on the food chain. But then you have this....

If you really use your head, the general flow of money in to one's lap is relatively the same percentage wise across the whole game. There are ways to make money faster than others, (excluding multiple accts for xunlai tourney predictions: NOTICE i did say "GAME" singular) but for the most part the time it takes to play and make a decent amount of money is in a relatively small percentage range. With that said, the zchest is certainly included. (Excluded is selling the keys via multiple accts) Even with multiple accts, it is very easy to go thru 1000-2000 zkeys and get back very little. They certainly didnt create the zchest as a "cash cow."
Back to my whole people are higher on the food chain, people do what they want to do because they can use their own brains to figure out how they want to spend their money. I think back on how much money ive spent on zkeys and i dont care. I dont have anything else really to spend it on, so why not. A lot of other people are in teh same boat. So you cant really make assumptions that certain people have been hit with the "idiot stick," unless you know more information/their situation.

I made money off the chest after about 200 keys 'cause I got lucky and hit 2 Everlastings in 1 month. It was incredibly lucky and it will not happen again. Here's my advice:
-If at ANY point you have turned a profit on the chest, quit while you're ahead unless you have loose cash and know what you're spending it on. Notice I say spending, not investing.
-If you want profit (and if 28k is a big deal), you should sell all of your keys. Think about this too, keys are dropping in price pretty consistently... sell 100 keys now and buy 100 keys 2 months from now and you'll have more money than you started with.

I'm not worried about the Zaishan title so I sell my keys to a chest runner (Za Hathor, who has a notice in services under his name). He pays me for the keys and I get to keep all drops, he has opened 300+ chests for me so far with no problems or scamming issues whatsoever. Check him out if you are just worried about what comes out of the chests and not the title.

Why did they drop so much? I just spent 90z keys for a r12 eternal blade.... He was asking for ecto but I gave him z-keys cause I had none. Maybe I should look for him now and give some z-keys back...

More keys (more supply)...demand goes down since less are buying by actually doing the predictions (less demand) = Prices drop.

This Title is not MEANT to be a PvE title, so no its not a money pit, its not a cash sink, it was never INTENDED to be purchased with gold, thats just a side effect of someone having what someone else wants. It takes 20,000 keys to max the title, the only people that will get that easily enough are people heavy into PvP, that are rolling in balthazar faction, and are winning GvG tournaments and able to buy 900 of the damn things at a time. If you play PvE, this title wasn't meant for you, and you will waste massive amounts of time trying to obtain it (but hey im not saying its not worth doing if thats what you want to do). Its sad that even the people that are most dedicated to this title and boast about dropping 500k or over a mil on keys and have sunk 2000 keys into the chest are hardly 10% there, give it up, its not worth it, its not meant for you.

I've opened the Zchest 3 times at most. I figured there was no way in hell anyone could make money off the chest without some sick luck. So instead of losing 3.5-5k per key to the chest I sold each and every single one of my keys. The end result?
I have more cash then I would if I had gambled on the chest. I don't fancy emotes. They don't feed my epeen nor do I even care for minor things that have zero effect on my game play. I've had people flash their emotes at me. My reply usually has something to do with, "At least I'm not broke".
