As the title says, I sent myself a PM, and 2 messages result. The same message is saved in your sent and inbox folder. It's not a problem, really, I am just curious if that is normal. I'm not familiar with forum software or web design.

Why did I send myself a PM, you ask? To see if I could, because this was awesome, and I had some difficulty locating it again. I don't know why I didn't simply add a subscription. On that note, may I ask what is the limit, if any, for forum subscriptions. Thanks in advance.

MisterB, you are the sender and the receiver. Same thing would happen if you went to your email box and did the same thing.

And no, I don't believe there is any limit for subscriptions.

I have used the same method to "save" links and things I had to remember from time to time, as Inde says the function is standard.
Used to work with phones as well though I'm not sure if it does anymore.
Now that I think of it, I'm fairly sure the postal service wouldn't mind delivering a letter to you from you,- as long as you paid for the stamp.
