Well, my laptop, slowly but surely and against my best attempts, has been turning to crap, and I'm looking at scrounging up money to get a new, decent computer for my video gaming. For now, though, I'm stuck, and my drivers, while the most recent I can pull off of the Alienware site (Nvidia's site doesn't carry drivers for this particular card, go figure), Guild Wars no longer runs flawlessly like it used to. I keep getting odd graphical mess-ups that require me to cycle resolutions constantly to keep the screen from suddenly going almost completely white and the computer from restarting.
That brick of text aside, I would like to know if anybody knows the most recent, most compatible, essentially, best driver for me to be on the lookout for that WILL work for the GeForce Go6600 card?

169.09 is probably the best. you'll need to go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ and download the drivers there, as well as a modified .inf file so it will work with your laptop.
with that said, your problems may be just your laptop's video slowly failing. given how old it is, it is certainly a possibility.

Yeah, I'm convinced that that is the cause, but I'm still going to do what I can to forestall the inevitable before I can get a new laptop. Thanks, I appreciate the help.
