So I'm currently working towards my first survivor title. I'm brawling with Kilroy, the safe way, but I do not have hard mode unlocked for EoTN yet. So my question is: Would it be more time efficient to run another character through the entire EoTN storyline and then come back to work on my survivor? My ranger (the one going for survivor) is currently at 350,000 xp.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

a more time consuming way but no need to worry about lag spikes is have someone help you through vanguard primary quests through what must be done(has to have done this quest for quest giver to appear),then on another character do ooze pit runs over and over. never turn in quest reward,switch to survivor and turn in Prismatic Gelatinous Material.you will get 5000 xp for each 1 you turn in.if you have a monk and learn to run ooze pit you can make 5k a person you run then offer to buy quest reward for 1.5k.when you turn it in you will get 1.250k back in return.i turned in over a 100 of them and got 500,000+ xp and got well over 100k back in return

Now for my contribution to this thread. Yes quickly beat the game then go back to survivor. Beating it should only take like 2-3 hours depending on if you know what you are doing and how much party wipes acure and what not.

Getting HM helps becuase you get extra exp per kill and for missions and dungeons.

HM = +50% xp + higher level enemas = moar xp. For those who decry survivor shortcuts; I had to reroll 8 chars to get legendary survivor due to lag spikes alone. You want to grind missions and quit scared when you are about to die you do that. As for the sane, grinding is only fun in small doses.

Thank you Songbringer, Loki, dasmitchies, and joshuarodger for actually answering my question. I came to that conclusion this weekend after I remembered how much I really hate grinding.

Personally i hate kilroy for survivor. Doing it over and over again is boring, and difficult at times as I am getting it for my monk and sin and maybe mesmer later on. Grinding for it to lvl 20 from 11 or 10 is fine. I would also suggest, if a mesmer or monk do FoWSC with rojway. Just watch out for traps.
- Quick story: I took my lvl 1 survivor to FoWSC and got to lvl 2. Next group I went in I was talking about it, walked into some traps and died XD...asked the HB why he didn't heal me and he said it was becuase he hated survivors. The next 10 minutes he got yelled and flamed by all the good people in the group and we all left the group and redid the FoWSC without him. Nice people
Also if you know someone that farms verrtirs (sp?) ask them if you can leech on the runs and deaths and offer to just give the farmer all the drops. And maybe pay them too.

or they hate survivors because of dwarven boxing(hi kilroy), keg farm and all the other lame ass methods for getting legendary survivor.
if you do it properly, aka actually play the game without dying to get your title, getting some elites along and perhaps some farming than your title is actually worth something. however nobody can know how someone else got his title so some just hate all survivors now...
