I don't know if this is the place to post this question,so please forgive.I don't mean to rant but I am stuck, well, there are 4 of us.We have tried and tried and tried to make it to Droks from Beacon's perch,I think it's been just about a month. There are 4 of us,3 warriors and one Necro.we have tried different combos with the henchmen and Hero's with no luck at all.Now we could pay someone to run us there but I paid for the game so I could play it,not have someone else play it for me.I also look at "runs" as cheating,Yeah i know some or most will say it is not,but to me it is cheating. How in the hell can we get through this without going even more crazy then we already have. And why does it seem that the warrior is now the wimp of rpg games and the spell casters are the stronger, when I played rpg games before it was always the spell casters that had the most trouble,or so it seemed at the time.I am not trying to condemn the game or anyone doing runs,it just gets really frustrating when I have tried and tried and just can't get anywhere. All I am asking for is help and advice

you're not supposed to go through that exit just yet. let me guess, none of you guys are max level and have max armor. in this case, you are supposed to go out the OTHER exit to continue the storyline. you'll reach droks eventually by just playing through the storyline.

you bought the game to play it? then play the game...you could have reached droks within about 4days if your not hardcore players...rather than wasting all this time failing at a run...
as above...also...the next primary is from the NPC in beacons >_<
Gun Pierson
If you start from Beacon's, you can only bring a party of 6 and with low level hench. Lornar's pass is meant for a party of 8 and all level 20 characters so it's not surprising it's hard.
Why do you wanne take the shortcut? (just checking) Normal play is the other way towards Lion Arch, not towards Drok's.

your talking about the Accession as the other way,I think.Well,we are stuck there too.sorry Payne but I will not pay someone to run me,that is not how I want to play the game. All of us are lvl 20,and we left the drok's side and got as far as the Accession then got stuck again.

Gun,wanted the armor, and just to complete that part.

So, did you guys go from the Northern Shiverpeaks, to Kryta, through the Maguuma Jungle, into the Crystal Desert to reach Ascension already?
Because that's the way to go, you don't have to run from Beacons to Droknar's Forge.
And are you 'stuck' (not knowing where to go), prior to Ascension, or are you just failing the mission?

We are at the Accession and are failing the mission where we have to keep the ghost fighter alive and have to face 5 or 6 teams. It is the mission that has the 2 min timer before they all re-spawn.We only get to the second fight before we all die, there are just way to many of them.Again, with that one we have tried different combos of Hero's/Henchmen with no luck

In the second area, try not to attack the two teams at the same time. Pull group for group, but make sure you kill the Priest before the 2 min mark. More, don't start killing the second group right after you've killed the first, wait until the 2 minute respawn has expired, only then attack the second group.
Maybe you can post your group builds. 3 Warriors should be able to dish out more than enough damage, but maybe you haven't got enough backup healers/protters.
Wiki info on the mission, might help.

You want to play the game? Then don;t fight to droks from beacons. Go through the story line.

Thirsty River sounds like where you are 'stuck'. Having an MM with you helps, but 3 Warriors will have some trouble I bet. There will be decent amounts of Blind, Cripple, and Weakness, so I'd suggest making sure you have condition removal. You need to know what targets to take out first. The enemy teams only respawn if the PRIEST is alive at the 2 minute mark, so make sure the Priest dies before then. Other than making sure the Priest dies, learn which monsters do the most damage or cause the most trouble for you, and take them out first. I'd recommend 2 healer/protectors for that mission, and if you are in a guild, ask someone for help.

I can post mine, the others are not online right now,one of the other warriors has just about the same stats as I do,the other warrior,I think,is a bit better and I think our Necro has a good setup

To win that one you need to kill the monk (not the boss, just the regular monk) in the shrine, that will prevent the teams from respawning. I bet what's happening is that you get to the shrine then the 2 minute mark hits and they all get ressed and you get ganked. So fight the outside guys and if the monk isn't dead by 1:30 rush the shrine and kill it.
Also it is necessary to wait untill the 2 minute mark is up before you engage the next team. The timer does not reset from the previous team.
I took a H/H team with a MM and bonused it, you just need to be mindful of the timer.

(OK people, forget his original question about the Drok's run. He is actually stuck at Thirsty River).
Dude, you should focus on what you need to do to beat Thirsty River, then to do what is needed to complete Augury Rock. This will take you to Droknar's Forge where you can buy your pretty new armor. More importantly, though, it will mean you have ascended and have access to Underworld and Fissure of Woe.
The area you were trying to fight through is totally irrelevant except for some elite skills you can cap when you are stronger.

If you want, I can help you with the mission. I can give you all some advice on builds, as well. I'd be on my monk, and probably bring a necro hero or something.

Thanks to everyone, like TheodenKind says We will go back to Thirsty River and focus on that mission and leave Drok's alone. The biggest problem we have,I think is just not knowing what to do or how to do it.I guess we should just stayed with the Accession mission all along.I'm posting my stats for you all to look at,not sure if that will help but let me know.

We are going back in,I will let you all know how it turns out.

regarding your team composition:
3 warriors = frontline, big damage aka please don't all be self-healing wammos without a single attack skill in your bar.
1 necro = midline, he has a multitude of options to run here, blood support, curse hexes, death mm.
2 monkie henchies = no brainer, you need a backline to fill out your team--i wouldn't recommend running any other henchies than monks.
regarding thirsty river:
take out the teams 1 by 1. yes you only have 20 minutes, but that doesn't mean to rush out and take out the whole thing as fast as you can. 20 minutes is plenty of time to take out the teams 1 by 1. pull individual mobs when you can, and focus fire priests.
regarding lornar's pass:
this wasn't mean to be fought through with a non-ascended 6-man team from beacons->droks. focus on ascension, getting your extra attribute points, and reaching droks through the "normal" way.

Actually after you ascend it takes you to Dragon's Lair mission, THEN after that mission you are brought to Droknar's Forge. Mission is fairly easy, but don't worry if you can't beat Glint at the end for the bonus, almost no one does their first try, but you still get the mission.

Thank you Songbringer for your help. Also thanks to everyone else too .
Zodiac Meteor
Dragons lair is hard, I suggest getting a guildy/hero team and avoid using henchies.
As for the shiverpeaks missions, pretty simple if you know the way around. PM me, I'll be happy to help with the shiverpeaks and the *SPOILER* after that.

Thanks to Songbringer who really help us out.I could see where we were going wrong.

Np man. If you guys ever need help just pm me. I am sure we can get through it. As far as dragons lair. If I were you guys I would probably go in two different teams. 2 Wars and 1 War 1 Nec team. Simply because then you can all bring heroes and you won't have so many warriors filling slots that could be used for midliners with support. That is why I didn't go back for the other two guys the first time we went in the mission. My necros all run heal support with a couple damage skills. So we had plenty of healing and decent damage.
Edit: O and yeah. As far as why I was saying wait here and don't take the ghostly and such. It was just tactics to beat the mission> If the priest is alive it resses its group of allies every two minutes. So I didn't want to have to rekill alot of things. Not taking the ghostly was simple. Didn't want it to be in harms way. Since he doesn't have any kind of decent damage or support he is useless but he can't die so yea. You guys will learn the tactics for missions and basic overall tactics like correct pulling and how to tank or whatever has you play. Don't worry so much on rushing just get into a guild that will help(if SS is idk because I don't know who they are). The best way to learn is to just go out with people who are literally willing to say. Go here stand and don't move untill everything is dead.
As for you guys builds. I didn't really look at them except the one hammer one that was pinged. There is a decent warrior elite in the desert missions you guys just finished. I would suggest going back into one and getting it even though it is really only decent in some situations and builds and wouldn't be used very often. To start with as an elite it is ok.
The necro could get oov as well and could easily run a oov/splinter bar to give you guys huge boosts in damage and minimal healing.
Then I would suggest like 1 of you run an earthshaker warrior and a couple hundred blade warriors.
Add in a couple n/rt healers and maybe a mm(which might be useless since there are 3 warriors and that is already a decent wall) and that will pretty much run through anything.
If you want I will make you a few bars to just look at and see what I am talking about or just check out PvXwiki(even though most of those bars are pretty meh).
But that is getting way ahead of it. First get yourselves through the missions and some decent armor. GL HF and most importantly remember it is a game.
