I don't fully understand some of this...

Excuse me for not being uber or missing something.

I was reading about trying out raptor farming. I thought I'd give it a go since my derv has been around and I need to make some moneys. I found this whole post:
I've always wanted to farm raptors in hm with my dervish, and, after some intensive brainstorming and experimenting this weekend, I finally came up with one :

Template Code: Ogej4NfMLTHY0XjXBMulki8I6MA

Profession: D/A

Attributes:
Mysticism: 12+1+3
Shadow Arts: 12
Deadly Arts: 3

Skills:
Pious Haste
Eremite's Zeal
Heart of Holy Flame
Viper's Defense
Radiation Field
(Light of Deldrimor) OR (Air of Superiority) [explained later]
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form {Elite}

It should be noted that this build was tested w/ r6 asuran and r10 dwarven, so ranks below this may give inferior results.

Equipment:
Insightful Staff of Enchanting (inscription, req, and damage don't matter so long as it's +10 energy)
Full radiant armor
Rune of Superior Vigor
Rune of Superior Mysticism
3 Runes of Vitae
(Note: This armor combination hasn't been experimented w/ all that much, so there may be a more optimal combination)

Summary:
You exit Rata Sum into Riven Earth, then immediately re-enter and exit again (This is to save you time in town by using the /resign command to spawn by the exit). You then go to the raptor cave, keeping up pious haste. This is where the two different options, air of superiority and light of deldrimor, diverge.

Light of Deldrimor:
This variation should be used for learning the build and for farming festival items. Proceed to aggro all the raptors in the cave EXCEPT for Rekoff Broodmother's group, keeping up pious haste all the while. Lead the raptors to behind the skeleton in the middle of the room, using deadly paradox while you're still moving and casting shadow form the second you stop. Wait patiently for ALL the raptors to begin attacking you. Once they have, cast in quick succession heart of holy flame->eremite's zeal->radiation field->viper's defense. It is crucial to activate viper's defense right after radiation field, so that all the raptors are poisoned before they scatter. After the shadow step, and hopefully before the scatter, try and get close to all the raptors and cast light of deldrimor; if you can hit them all, you shaved a few seconds off your run, if not, things will still work out. Make sure to stay in the area long enough that at least a few of the raptors suffer from the disease from radiation field, then begin to kite using pious haste before shadow form expires. Group up the raptors so the disease spreads, kite for a few seconds, and watch the big green numbers flood your screen, pick up loot after the last raptor dies, type /resign, and repeat.

Air of Superiority:
This variation allows you to take out the group associated with Rekoff Broodmother as well, although not the boss herself. Use once your comfortable with the build, as you'll be getting more drops for your time. However, if your farming festival items, it is advised that you use the LoD method, as even with a second shadow form, at least when I was testing it, you will often get too many drops to pick up before rekoff kills you, and while you can rez and go back, it gives you a lower loot to time ratio if that happens than the LoD method. Basically, you do the same as the above method, aggroing all the raptors including rekoff's group. Instead of LoD, cast air of superiority right before you begin kiting, then kite until all the raptors die. If you do it right (and aren't extremely unlucky) shadow form will be recharged and you will have enough health from air to survive twisting jaws. Recast shadow form, pick up loot, /resign, and repeat.

This is my first (successful) profitable farming build, so I hope you all go out and enjoy it to its fullest. While I know there are builds that can take out the boss as well, there are people like me who probably just want to farm on their derv primary instead of using a different char, so please don't post regarding this. Any feedback and questions are welcomed, though I like won't be able be on much in the next twelve hours. I'm referring mostly to the part about gearing up for this build. He talks about setting it up with "full radiant armor" and another 5 runes on top of that.

I haven't really tested this out, and don't seem to just test stuff out because I don't make tons of money.. but isn't full radiant armor meaning runes on each piece? Then how to I squeeze 5 more runes in there? Can we put 2 runes on each piece of armor?

Am I THAT noob? It's okay if I am... you learn something new everyday.

Can someone explain this gear situation in dummy terms?

Trying to stay out of Ryuk's Death Note

N/R

there are runes:

then there are insignias:

you can put BOTH on a piece of armor. Think of it as one on top and one on the bottom.

Then you will have a Radiant XXXX Armor of Superior Vigor.
