Looking for tips on Presearing

Pre-Searing. I am in the Char area past the Gate, so like Northlands.
I have a W/Mo and i was wondering what tips you can give me for fighting char. and char bosses, I am only level 6 and I see that there level 8 and I always get my ass handed to me on a gold Plate.

You may want to consider going to wizards folly to level up some before attacking those char. Another options is to try to get a party of other players to go with you. You can also try to pull some groups to the shrine to let those NPC assist you in killing them, however I do not believe you can pull groups with bosses to the shrine.
Are you working on the Defender of Ascalon title?

No I am just doing it to get the rare gold and purple items and also to just state that i did it. i want to be level 14-16 before I go to the actual story line.

You should definately look into partying up with some people to take on that area at your current level.
Thinking about it a bit more you may want to go for the title if you REALLY want bragging rights but you would have to be willing to death level which will involve way more time than you may be willing to spend.

I really do wish people would leave the Northlands alone until they are high enough level to at least possibly vanquish it.

You can't get gold items in pre other then charr salvage kits. Hopefully when you said "to just state that i did it" you mean to yourself since no one will care since its easy. And why would you want to spend 1 week+ lvling to 14-16 just to leave pre and fight lvl 2s? If I were to lvl to 14-16 i'd just keep him there to farm event items.

this is goping to sound really stupid.
I would do that but there are no chests (that i have seen) in pre
and by chests I meanm storage chests
Darcy
You are correct, there are no storage chests in pre-searing.
But, if you are determined to fight the Charr in pre, level up some more. If you are level 8/9 when you move out of pre-searing, you will be fine.

If you plan on keeping a char in pre go to www.presearing.com
Charr at the Gate is a good quest to keep abandoning and retaking for level ups.
But if you're not planning on staying in pre, don't waste your time, you can level up faster in post, plus the purples the charr drop are really only good for perma pres.

As others have pointed out, warrior level 6 is pretty low for solo charr hunting.
I remember having reasonable success as a level 9 warrior (no secondary) with ranger skills, bringing a pet and using troll unguent to help with healing.

I should point out that i do have a majority of Bonus weapons from special box sets and I do have the fire imp so it does help a bit
Commander Ryker
Perkunas
The first time I took my lvl 8 W/R to the Northlands, it took me 3 hours and around 15 deaths to "vanquish" the area. I collected runes, insigs, and weapon upgrades that I salvaged with the dropped Charr Kits. Now at lvl 16, all runed up, it takes minutes to clear the shrine.

He can't party up with "people" in pre since party size is only 2 total.

You are correct!!! Person would have been much better. People in my head: as in teaming up with different individuals over time. Not the same person over and over.

update:
Ben and the fire imp rock hard! Breezing through charr. Already had one charr bag drop for me! Level 12 and climbing!!!

This is the correct advice. Forget everything else.
Yes there is a Gold Drop (Charr Salvage Kit 5/5 uses selling for 4-5K) and a Green Drop (Charr Bag adds 10 inventory spaces selling for 500g-750g) in Pre. So now that this is put to bed.
Purples - 12-16 dmg Long Sword with 13^50 and Sundering 18/20 pummel of Charrslaying at 18% is 250,000 gold. This is well worth the hunt.
A perfect Fire staff could go as high as 500K and Vampiric weapon from days of old are well over 100 Black Dye.
There is Buckets of gold to be had.
So your aiming for fast Boss killing runs.
Do the above advice. "Charr at the gate" will get you to lvl 8 in a matter of hours. Kill 3 charr - or let the prince do it - and then map quickly back to Ascalon and then run out again. Rinse and Repeat. Do not take the reward.
Once at lvl 9 or 10 you will have to learn how to use your toon.
W/M is really not that good cause the Chaots can remove your Enchantments and the Fiends can remove your stances.
Since you are not going to be a Perma Pre I guess it will not matter all that much.
The Hunters really kill Wars fast and the chaots are a pain with a monk. My suggestion would be when taking on a group head on - you have to cause you have no AoE from a Ranged attacks- to use Bane and Symbol of wrath as they will be your friend.
So I would run up to the Chaots first and kill them with Bane and Symbol of Wrath. Then use the healing breeze to bring your health up.
Next is the Hunters cause you will be taking Massive damage from them. Then the Shaman and the Fiends/Aaxes.
This might sound nuts but your dead without being able to heal yourself cause your skills suck compared to theirs. This game is not Level>Skills but SKILLS>level.
My suggestion would be to simply delete this toon and make a ELE/Necro or a Monk/ELE or W/R
Here's why,
Ele has the capacity for huge amounts of energy and has access to the Greatest of all skills in pre - Firestorm. Necro cause the minions will provide a meat shield. Third you are ranged! There are things that you can hide behind so that you take next to no damage while using Fire storm to kill them in a matter of 10 seconds or so.
Monk/Ele - I have 3 of these as permapre toons/storage toons. (there is no storage in pre)
I target the Chaots with Firestorm and then use my healing breeze. I use the symbol of wrath to kill the Charr War's and everyone dies in a matter of seconds (lvl 16's)
And my best pick for you since you want to play WAR is W/R.
Rangers have a healing skill that can give you the same effects as Healing Breeze but with the exception that it is not removable cause it is not an enchantment. You can also have a pet as a "meat" Shield - Strider. Also you can get this pet to lvl 20 when you are lvl 16. (overnight of course)
So for in your face action W/R takes it. From what I can see you are not that far into this toon so deleting it and making another is a definite option.
As for the stuff that you have on you that you already invested in I can help you transfer it to your new toon since this is my idea if you like.
I can also show you how I run my lvl 18 W/R. I have a lvl 20 pet with a 15-22 dmg Glacial Blade (bonus weapon) with the 18% more damage vrs Charr. Oh and did I mention that I have the lvl 18 Fire imp that kills everything in seconds?
Artisan Archer
Vamp weapons aren't over 100 black dyes; more around 150-200k
The Imp is great for help, W/R would be your best option, with Troll Unguent and a pet (and a imp) you can wreck havoc among the charr.
